Mr Flynn is ready for his forever home! Please live with 1 hour of Elkhart, IN. Hi, My name is Flynn! I am about 15 lbs and 11 months old. I'm a super happy, loving, and goofy 11 month boy old who loves dogs. I am a little slow to warm up to new people. I have not had a lot of cat interactions, but think its fun to try and play and chase them. I would probably do ok in a cat savvy home. , My ideal family would want to play a lot with me, and would have a dog sibling that likes to play. I am pretty well potty trained, but since I'm still learning, when I need to go potty, I need to go right away. I am good in the car, and also can be in my crate for extended periods of time. I don't bark much, and am inquisitive about seeing new things and people. I would like a fenced in yard, because I am little and fast, and might sneak out of your house. I like peanut butter, toys and treats and my favorite thing to do is to snuggle. I just graduated from dog class and know how to sit, lie down. Watch me. Come and leave it. I could really benefit from additional socialization classes and we are looking for a family to invest training and time into me!  At first I was fearful of men and a little skittish when meeting people, but in 2 short weeks my foster mom said I've gotten much better and am ready for my forever family.  Flynn could really benefit from additional socialization classes and we are looking for a family to invest training and time into him!  This is a shy guy with lots of potential. PLEASE READ HER BIO BEFORE APPLYING. LINK IS AT THE BOTTOM. Gypsy was found as a stray earlier this year. When she was caught, we could tell that she had puppies recently. After searching for 24 hours she led us to a remote piece of property and down into a fox hole where 7 puppies were located. They were about 4 weeks old and little chunky butts. Gypsy cleaned, fed and took care of them down in a small hole that provided no daylight. Very impressive! All of her puppies have since been adopted out and we have continued to work with Gypsy and help her become a well rounded dog. She likes most dogs and is super playful. She prefers to be a couch potato and seems to love her crate where you can find her passing time sleeping or chewing on her bone. She does great with kids who are respectful of her space.  Gypsy still needs help with socialization of new people and we hope that her new owners will continue those classes with her. Gypsy loves to go for car rides and play with toys. Gypsy has been spayed, microchipped, vaccined, HW negative and on prevention and she comes with a GPS tracking collar. Gypsy's adoption fee has been sponsored! If you are interested and live within an hour of Elkhart please submit an application.  Click on the word ADOPT below here to open the application.  show less

Ashlyn who has been renamed to Lucy (and answers to it) is available for adoption. Lucy's bio.. From her foster mom! This girl is about 6 years old and 40 lbs. Lucy is such an easy dog to have! This girl is 100% a couch potato, and a you & a fuzzy blanket are an added bonus! She literally spends 90+% of her day just snoozing on the couch. She loves it so much that she often chooses to sleep there over her dog bed in the bedroom at night. There are still some mornings where she has come to bed overnight. Lucy does great on a leash or tie out, and after given time to become acclimated to her space and boundaries, does well without either and comes when called. Unfortunately I don't think she knows how to sit or lay down, but I also did not push either of these as she was healing from a broken leg when she came to me and I didn't want to inflict any discomfort on her. She is such a happy girl in the morning when you get up and when you come up she is excited to see you. She rarely jumps but will partially crawl into your lap for affection and so tenderly reaches with her paw to let you know she wants the pets to keep coming. She tolerates other dogs but will set boundaries with a snarl, so I think she would do best as an only dog or with another low key/older canine. She is a little bit of a grumpy old lady with other dogs. She can become a little possessive of her person with another dog around as well. She does well when people come over, after a handful of barks she usually just heads back to her spot on the couch. She has not been around children, but I think older kids who are a little slower with her would be best. She's not here to play, she's here to lay. Lucy has been microchipped, spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and on prevention and she is also on a joint supplement. She has a leg injury that is still healing and it might always bother her some. Her adoption fee has been waived to an approved adopter. Www.trackingintheshadows.com click on adoptable pets. show less

Sweet little Zoë is hoping to find her forever family for the new year! She is approx 2 yrs old & 18 lbs. Zoë loves to play with her toys & her dog friends so we'd like to see her in a home with other playful dogs. She does OK with most dog savvy cats. She wants to play with them & will chase them if they run. Zoë is a little fearful with new people so she will need slow introductions with lots of treats & a home where there isn't a lot of new & strange people visiting. She's graduated dog 1 class with A Canine Story 3 times. We'd love to see her continue fear free force free classes to help with her confidence. This sweet girl deserves a patient family willing to meet her where she's at & continue to help her become her best self. Zoë is an absolute sweetheart once she's comfortable. She loves to do the zoomies & is great at playing fetch with her ball (it's her favorite). She's house trained & crate trained & is great at snuggling in bed at night. Zoë does have some quirks while on a leash & for that reason she requires a fenced in yard. Due to her energy level & timidness she would do best with older/teenage children. Fun fact about Zoë: she loves to play with Rufus who is also available for adoption. If someone out there is looking for 2 younger medium sized dogs they're great together. Applications for Zoë (& Rufus) at www.trackingintheshadows.com Zoë's adoption fee has been sponsored. Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart IN. Click on the word ADOPT below here to open the application.  show less
