She had fleas really bad and was pregnant. After a few months of being loved, she is doing better and her hair is growing back. She does well with other dogs and children. Ava has a sweet personality and loves people/big kids. She enjoys belly rubs. She loves going for car rides and looking out the window for bunnies/critters. She will load herself up in the back of any truck or car door left open. She does not like to be left alone. She is potty trained. She will kennel with no problem. She is smart, but lacks basic training. She walks on a leash well enough. Gets along well with large dogs but no with smalls dogs. She is very interested in cats so we haven't trusted her with cats. She is accustomed to being around dogs of all ages and sizes. She is indifferent to cats and loves all size humans. Loves the water, running & playing. Birdie is very sweet and loving.  She gets along with most of my dogs but not all, she is dog selective so I would think she's better as a only pet.  She does seem to get along with male dogs, her size and larger.  She ignors my cats and I'll test again to make sure.  She came to us with five beautiful little pups that have all gone to their forever homes.     show less
