Rescue/Shelter Description
Two Hearts Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 501c3 volunteer animal rescue. We are dedicated to rescuing animals left homeless for whatever reason – animals in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, animals given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. Animals in our care are required to be spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age and breed.
Areas Served
We are a 100% foster home based rescue based out of Warren County NJ. We have foster homes in various counties of western NJ & eastern PA.
Adoption Instructions
If you are interested in adopting a dog please fill out an application. This helps us determine if you and the dog are a good match. Note you may not hear back from us right away. Prior to responding to you we will contact your references, vet's office (if you have other pets) and do other research. Please allow us appropriate time to do that.
