Hiya! I’m Connor. Nice to meet you! I came to this wonderful foster home after my owners could no longer care for me. You see, my humans passed away a couple of years ago and then I went to family to be cared for. I’ve been through a lot of loss so I’m ready to find my retirement home. I’m around 15 but my foster mom doesn’t believe it. I’m spunky as all get out and love to romp through the yard. Did you know that I went through the prison program back in 2008 with refurbished pets? I was a youngster then! I’m a smart boy and seem to be house trained! I’m neutered and LOVE a good comfy couch or bed to sleep on. Oh and it’s a must that I sleep with you or else I’ll keep you up all night barking. I’m looking for a calm home. No small kids. I don’t hear or see well and sometimes startle easily. I love all the dogs. The big ones and the little ones and try to play with them! My tail just gets going and it doesn’t stop when I’m around them! I haven’t been cat tested but probably would be fine. A fenced yard is a MUST! I like to do my own thing outside and will spend hours out there if allowed. I can’t wait for spring to come. Attended of course! I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I could benefit from a dental within the next year. Please check with your vet to be sure you can get this setup! I am in early stages of renal failure so K/D food is a must. Hello friends my name is hunter! I’m a four year old standard piebald dachshund. I am a big baby and love being held and kissing non stop. I am good with cats and good with dogs. My foster siblings scare me a little but with time and patience I believe I could adjust to new siblings. I am very sneaky and will get away if my human isn’t careful. I am currently not potty trained but we are working on it. My foster mom is hopeful my neuter will help. I have successfully started using potty pads so we are on the right track. I haven’t had to be around small humans so we aren’t sure if I like them. It would be best if I wasn’t in an apartment because I howl and bark when it’s time to go in the cage. I howl very loud because I have some separation anxiety. It has already gotten better since being with my foster parents ! I’m a young boy looking for a family to give all my love to in exchange for love,training,and patience. You must live within an hour or so of Elkhart.
