Autumn is a very sweet loving cat.  She LOVES people and dogs and although she tolerates other cats she would prefer to be the only one.   Autumn came to us with an old pelvic injury that doesn't cause her any pain but does make her prone to constipation.  She is on a very cheap daily medication and must eat canned cat food to manage this condition.  She still sometimes needs her butt wiped or help going.  I know it seems like a lot but if her food and meds are controlled she has very few issues and she has sooo much love to give. show less

How am I still available? 🙀😿 Is it my initial hissiness? It's just because I'm still cautious. I've been through a lot this year. It's kinda just my thing, I mean no harm.  I learned that kittens aren't so bad. (they used to bother me, running around and such) 🐈🐈‍⬛🧶 She's shy and not much of a cuddler. She prefers to not be picked up and held, but will come for neck rubs and booty scratches. She does very well with other cats, still iffy on the dog (but my dog is hyper and big). Not sure how she'd be with children as i so not have young ones. She's still startled by sudden movements or loud noises. She loves to hiss at every thing (its actually pretty cute.) She enjoys laying on her blanket in her crate and has started to play with the ball tower and and exploring the cat tree. 😍  vet estimated my age at 2-3 years old! show less

This is Bishop. He is an almost 8 year old shepherd pit mix, but not 100% sure on that. We have had him since he was a puppy, but over the years old age has gotten to him. He is a loving dog and loves to snuggle, but our home is no longer a good fit for him. He can not be in a home with cats or smaller animals. He is dog selective, but I’d say with experience to just go with only pet home. He is food and toy aggressive. We have three young kids and he growls at them. So no small kids in the home. He’s the type of dog that you can’t have windows open otherwise he will go right through them. We are looking for a home that has more time to work with him and maybe the issues will get better. show less

  We can practically see all of the jaws drop as they see this post:  “WOW!” 😍 Yep, we totally agree! Blotchy, today’s featured adoptable pet, sure is a stunner! Blotchy has very unique markings, even for a tortie. She’s beautiful, sweet and just plain lovable. She is great with kids and other cats, and she doesn’t mind dogs as long as they are respectful. Blotchy is young at just under 1-1/2 years old, so she has many years of love to give her future adopter. Blotchy is a young adult cat that had been surrendered. She's good with other cats and people but a little afraid of dogs (although she could live with a calm one with a proper introduction). Just ask anyone owned by a tortie cat, and they will tell you they are overflowing with purrsonality and add that extra little ‘tude to a home that any cat lover wants! show less

Brewer is an 8 year old, female tabby. She is absolutely stunning and has acclimated nicely to an indoor life. Brewer came to us, from outside, during a polar vortex. She may still be just a tad shy but she appreciates receiving affection and is known to seek it out when she wants it. Brewer likes to be pet and, while she does not care to be picked up, she will sit on your lap. She likes other cats and would do best in a quieter household where she can calmy supervise all the comings and goings.  She does not hide and is usually close by observing. It is undeniable that Brewer has a serious case of RBF (resting b@#$ face but she is actually a very swet cat. Want to give this sweet, little girl a chance? show less

Carmilla is a member of what we like to call our Shy Cat Club. These kitties may have been taken in as strays and are re-learning to live inside a home, or they may use be ones who take awhile to warm up to new people. But they all have diverse and interesting personalities. Getting to watch them blossom in a new home is an incredibly rewarding and gratifying experience. Let’s introduce you to Shy Cat Club member Carmilla. Carmilla was rescued as a stray in early 2021 and has been with us ever since. It’s heartbreaking to see this lovely gray kitty be repeatedly overlooked just because she is shy and nervous around new people. Let’s give this 4-year-old girl a new life in a forever home, with a family that understands her true beauty and worth. And to you, Carmilla says, “I may be shy, but I have a heart of gold.
