This poor dog was in horrible condition.  Very bad skin issues.  Found wandering a neighborhood.  Nine has since been taken to a veterinarian and getting treatment for his skin issues.   He will be on the road to recovery.   Large dog.   Bruce needs a dedicated owner who will continue to see him on his road to recovery.  He is already much better than these photos show.  Three of the photos are when he came in and three are NOW..... He looks like a dalmation spotted Pit.  :-) show less

Chevy is available for adoption!  This sweet boy is fostered in Keaau with a family who has small children and another dog.  He is absolutely fine.  He had a broken jaw at one point of his life and had his jaw wired.   It had been a while, so we had the vet check it.  When he got neutered we removed the wires and he is good to go!   Amazing, beautiful dog.    show less

Eden came into rescue and soon thereafter showed seizure activity.   After many weeks of gaining control of it, it seems that the seizure activity may be food related.   She is in foster in Kona.  If you are familiar with dogs who have diet restrictions or are prone to seizures and takes daily meds, please consider adopting Eden.  She is a great dog.   show less
