About Stewie

Stewie. He is 6 years young and is a dog for anyone who loves big calm dogs.

Stewie loves people and loses his mind when you rub his belly or chest. He's good with kids, female dogs, and even cats. He is house trained and is fine left home alone and uncrated. Despite his size, he doesn't need a lot of room in the house and loves to chill and be with his family.  He previously lived in the same home for most of his life and is with us because his Mom passed away. Of course, he misses her but he has so much happiness and love still in him and he is ready to give it to a special someone. Are YOU that someone?

Stewie is currently being treated for Hypothyroidism.

Age: 8 months.  Weight: 41 pounds. Requires a physically fenced yard Brida must have a companion dog in her furever home Meet Brida! Brida came to Mostly Muttz after living outside on a farm with many other dogs for the first six months of her life. She and the other dogs rescued together are known as the 'Last Kingdom Litter', named for characters from the series. Initially, Brida was a bit unsure about her new surroundings and indoor life. However, after a few short weeks, she has easily adapted to her new life and loves all of the dogs she is in foster with.  Brida has a gentle soul, is very submissive and is very smart. It has taken her no time at all to learn basic commands (although she currently feels most comfortable listening to commands alongside her doggie friends as she looks to them for examples and comfort) Brida has been excellent with cats.  Brida is still learning about people. She is comfortable with her foster family, but timid with visitors or when passing people during a walk.  Young children will likely be overwhelming for her, therefore a home with older children is recommended. She is working on socialization while in foster and ideally her future family will continue to work with her. With continuous effort, Brida will likely overcome her timidness in new situations and with new people. Patience and time will be necessary during the first few weeks, but as soon as she learns the new routine and her expectations, she will become an easy addition. Brida loves to lay outside and sunbathe.  She is working on her leash skills while in foster and is making steady progress on leash. While she is gaining confidence on leash, she is still timid/nervous in a neighborhood setting at this time due to loud noises and new people.  If you are interested in BRIDA and would like to give her the loving home she deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply to adopt her at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. show less
