*** PLEASE READ FULL BIO BEFORE FILLING OUT APPLICATION*** IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT IF YOU HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTINUE READING, I BET ALL YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED! Cookie is a one-year-old sweetie that looks like a terrier/spaniel mix. She came to us from a hoarding situation, along with her mama and a few of her siblings.  Cookie had a very hard time adjusting to being in her foster home. She would not come out of her kennel for the first few days and wanted nothing to do with anyone in the house. Slowly, but surely, her fosterer was able to earn Cookie's trust., and she started coming out. It went from wanting nothing to do with anyone, to full-on, "Love me. My name is Cookie, and I love you." Interestingly, the first person to earn Cookie's trust was her human foster brother, who is ten.  Because of Cookie's unique and sensitive nature, we would need an adopter who can come visit her at her foster home and to also realize that it may be a slower transition than a "typical' adoption.  An i deal adopter would be someone who is patient, can spend time with her, and slowly introduce her to new people and situations.  A  home with another confident, playful dog is also a plus. Her foster mom says these things about her:  Cookie is very sweet and cuddly, once she trusts you.  Cookie is  friendly with other dogs.  It  could take a few days for her to feel comfortable in a new home, but you’ll be rewarded with kisses and enthusiastic tail wagging.  She  walks nicely on a leash. She l oves to take a nap in her person’s lap.  Cookie is  almost potty trained. She goes potty outside if taken outside regularly. Cookie currently weighs 13 lbs. Whiskey's adoption fee is $350. This helps cover her spay surgery, DHPP vaccination, and rabies vaccination. Cookie is being fostered in Santa Clara.  If you're interested in meeting and/or adopting Cookie, please fill out an application at: www.tcrescue.com/adopt ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. *** PLEASE READ MUNECA'S ENTIRE BIO BEFORE FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION.***   IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT IF YOU HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTINUE READING, I BET ALL YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED! Muneca came to us covered in mats and very afraid of everything. She hid and cowered in her kennel for the entire first day.  Muneca was in a foster home and it wasn't a good fit. She was very skittish and didn't feel comfortable. We moved her to another foster home, and she has been thriving in that home! We don't entirely know Muneca's past, but obviously there's some trauma and she starts out as a very nervous dog. She needs to be in the right environment and that entails someone who is very slow and patient and understanding.  Her current foster mom says she is very sweet and cuddly once she trusts you.  She is  friendly with other mild-mannered dogs. She is  still very young with puppy energy.  She likes to explore and chew on toys ( and shoes if left where she can reach.)  Muneca  loves to play and then take a nap in her person’s lap.  She is  pretty much potty trained. She goes outside if taken outside regularly.  An i deal adopter for Muneca would be someone who is patient, can spend time with her, and is willing to provide basic puppy training. Because of Muneca's personality, we are requiring in-person visits; however, if she doesn't take to you the first time, that's okay; she just needs time to get used to you. We also expect that she may have the same temperament in her new home -- skittish, standoffish, hiding, and scared -- for the first day or two of being in her new home.  Muneca's adoption fee is $600. This helps cover her spay surgery, DHPP vaccination, and rabies vaccination.
