Tank, despite his name, is nothing but a huge softie! This incredibly sweet senior dude has charmed everyone he has met with all the love he has to give, proven by the fact that a shelter volunteer who took him out on an overnight decided afterwards to take him home as her foster pup. Now comfortably living in his foster home, Tank continues to show that though he showed up to the shelter as a stray, he was likely well taken care of in the past; his now foster mama reports that he is house-trained and has had no accidents, can easily stay home alone and quietly in a 500 sq. ft apartment, and will love on her constantly with his amazing, serotonin-boosting cuddling skills. In addition, Tank also knows `sit`, `shake`, and is learning `stay` - what a smart guy! When outside of his foster home, Tank still enjoys lots of activity as an older pup, particularly loving long walks, hikes, and fetch. He loves seeing people, does well when passing other dogs on walks and hikes, and even lived with another dog at the shelter and went to play groups while there. When Tank goes on these walks and hikes with his foster mama, he asks her about the people passing by, `Is that my furever family? Is that my furever family? Is that my furever family?` He`s hoping that may be you, and he thinks you should consider bringing his love into your life!
