Beatrice is a majestic beauty with the most gorgeous black satin coat. Coming from a hoarding situation, she has had a bumpy start in life, which makes her slightly reserved around people initially -- but she has made remarkable progress. Once you earn her trust, she warms up and enjoys gentle pets. When out exercising, she casts off her regal presence and cuts loose with non-stop binkies and zoomies. She does the most amazing mid-air 360 degree spins you`ve ever seen! It`s so much fun to watch her express her joy with astounding stunts and act a little goofy. She’s a calm, sophisticated, very intelligent rabbit with an independent streak. This go-slow, easy-to care-for lady would thrive most in an adult environment with people willing to give her lots of love, royal treatment, and some space to adjust to a wonderful new life. She would free roam easily in a bunny-proofed home -- which could quickly become her `Queenly Kingdom.` She is RHDV vaccinated. Her care requirements include:Indoor housing only in a large space to explore, play, and run.Exercise pens (x-pens) are a must. Two x-pens attached together provide adequate space. NO Cages or Hutches – too small!Soft fleece blankets and area rugs to sleep on.Lots of hay and fresh leafy greens.A large hide cardboard box.Chew toysNail trim every 6 - 8 weeksFrequent groomingIf you would like to know more about Beatrice, please contact shelter rabbit volunteer, Cheryl at 408-621-3773.
