About Billy

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner on August 26, 2021. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Billy! Billy is a reserved and timid cat that needs help with building his confidence around things that he is not familiar with. His adopters will need to be patient while Billy adjusts in his new home and can warm up to his people. Due to his shy demeanor, Billy would greatly benefit from an extended confinement period to allow him ample time to get settled. A shy cat still needs play time and exercise, but it will have to be slow and less invading. Billy is living in a foster home so if you are interested in learning more about him, please give us a call at 619-299-7012 to speak to one of our counselors today! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 17 Age: 4yrs 1mths 2wks

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Bambi! Bambi is a sweet boy who lacks self-control and seeks instant gratification by demanding the things that he enjoys (attention, walks, treats, etc.). In Bambi's world, he has learned that behaviors like jumping and pulling get him what he desires. Due to Bambi's high energy and impulsive behavior, he would do best in an adult-only home. Bambi is eager to learn and will need a human that is patient and will teach him that calm behaviors are rewarded with his favorite things. Bambi has lots and lots of love to give but just doesn't know how to express it appropriately! Adequate exercise will be essential for giving Bambi an outlet for all of his teenage energy. How about a game of fetch, or frisbee? Another outlet will be training games, where Bambi can learn "wait", "leave it", or "settle". Learning calm behaviors will not only help Bambi live in your home peacefully, but will also make him less anxious and frustrated. Training is a bonding experience, and Bambi is sure to be a loyal companion. If you are enthusiastic about training and looking for your next loving companion, come check Bambi out at our El Cajon Campus! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 11 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks show less
