About Maggie

Maggie is very sweet kitten and loves to play. She enjoys climbing on her foster mom’s shoulders and licking her face. She is also adventurous and hides in funny places like behind books on a bookshelf. She and her brother Ollie play fight and chase each other across the house almost all day long. They are almost always together. At night, Maggie typically settles down by 9-10pm -- this is usually the time for humans, where she will sleep on laps, cuddle and let her foster family hold her for prolonged periods. She doesn't shed a lot, but she really likes getting her coat brushed. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Note that most of our kittens under age 5 months need to be adopted with a buddy. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet the kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

Havana is a very sweet senior male Russian Blue mix. He is a stray being cared for by neighbors in a residential neighborhood in Martinez. He's calm, talkative, and very friendly. He stays by his human's side for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He doesn't stray far and it is always easy to find him. No one knows his history. People say he has been around for a long time with no home. Neighbors who know him and feed him would like to see him find a forever home where he can live out his senior years. Havana might prefer to be an only pet. A few families who take care of him have other cats, and Havana hasn't been able to join the pack. They also don't believe he would enjoy dogs, though he has no known experience with this. The desire for Havana to be an only pet in his retirement is the main reason why they are helping him find a new forever home, indoors only. Over a year ago, Havana went to the veterinarian after a fight with another neighborhood cat, and after that he lived indoors to heal. He loved it! He used his litter box with no problem.  He is looking for an indoor-only retirement, perhaps with the option to enjoy a catio, backpack, or walks on a leash (you'll have to ask him what he thinks!)  Havana is not owned by The Dancing Cat.
