Meet Jenny! This smiley gal is looking for a loving and active forever home. Jenny loves meeting new people, getting the zoomies, going on long walks, and snacking on tasty treats. Looking for a jogging buddy? Well Jenny is waiting just for you! We believe Jenny would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard to provide space for her to run and play off all her excess energy. This Boxer-mix is highly intelligent and eager to please her people. She already knows how to "sit" and is quickly learning new commands and manners! Meet Thor! This handsome hunk has a truly heartwarming story that is sure to put a smile on your face. On a hot summer day in north central San Antonio, a construction crew was working hard at their job site when they noticed something suspicious happening down the street... A car slowed down, pushed Thor out, and drove off! Thor trotted right up to the workers with a big goofy smile and instantly won their hearts. The construction site manager decided to help this boy out in his time of need and invited him to stay in the backyard of their work site. The men gave Thor food, water, shelter, and most importantly... love and attention! Being a happy-go-lucky social butterfly, Thor loves hanging out with the guys every day while they work. Unfortunately, Thor can't stay at the work site forever and we are all trying to help him find a loving family to join! He is a big and loveable boy who deserves nothing but the best from here on out. Will you be the "happily ever after" in Thor's story? If you are interested in meeting or adopting Thor, please fill out our online dog adoption application today: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AHAC/Dog*Thor is not an official Alamo Heights Animal Care Services pet. AHACS is providing rehoming assistance to a kind San Antonio resident who witnessed Thor being abandoned. show less
