About Juniper in San Antonio

**Courtesy Post** Juniper in Boerne/San Antonio, Texas: Juniper is a 2 year old little girl. She loves to play and be with her people. She weighs about 18 pounds and has had all her vet work done. The best home for her will be where someone is home at least part of the time. Like most JRTs she will get along with male dogs best. No farm animals...chickens, ducks, bunnies, goats, etc. We are not sure about cats...but probably not. Because she was found as a stray she is unsure of children. We don’t recommend a home with children. Juniper needs a safe and securely fenced backyard. That means no short chainlink, no wrought iron, no electronic fencing, and a wooden privacy fence must not have any space/gaps on the bottom. A visit to your home will be done before adoption. For more information about Juniper please email her owner at and she will send you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee. Juniper’s adopter must be able to drive to the Boerne/San Antonio, Texas area to get her. She will not ship her.

Frankie is a 9 month old neutered male Jack Russell Terrier. He’s a great little guy who could use some training and socializing. At his age he would love a little female dog to run around and play with. Hopefully, his adopter will be home at least part of the day as he is too young to be alone for too long. JRT’s of this age need a lot of exercise and attention. They have an incredible amount of energy and the right adopter will understand that. How do you make a very securely fenced yard for this athletic boy? No short chain link or he’s going to be able to climb it. No wrought iron because he’s going to be able to squeeze through it. No electronic fencing because he may run through it. Frankie’s new adopter needs to be able to go outside with him to be sure he doesn’t try to dig under or wiggle through anything. Based on Frankie’s personality and needs, he will require a home with no kiddos, and no cats or any little critters. This boy is true to his breed and is prey driven so no farm animals like chickens, ducks, goats, etc. Frankie needs a yard to run in, so no apartments. His adopter must be able to drive to the Austin, Texas area to get him. A home visit and vet reference are mandatory to adopt him. If you are interested please fill out the online adoption application at His adoption fee is $325. Contact: show less
