About Tinsley

Meet Tinsley! Tinsley is a somewhat feline pup- she has a very curious nature and is at first reserved and shy, but once you gain her trust, she is extremely playful and a loyal friend forever. She has a habit of grooming you as a way of showing love, so be ready for lots of kisses! She is equally happy to nap on your lap or play with you- she likes to nibble gently and bat at you with her paws as well as play with plushies and mini tennis balls.Tinsley looooves to eat and gets extremely excited by the prospect of food/treats. She especially loves freeze dried chicken and licks the crumbs off the floor that I normally vacuum! This one does not seem to be a picky eater for a small dog. Just keep an eye out when on walks! Walk time elicits zoomies and happy hops as well, which can make it hard to catch her, delaying the walk. She will want to sleep in your bed if you let her, pretty much glued to your face. Boundaries are not something she is too familiar with, and she is a bit needy, so probably best to be a one dog household, although she is not aggressive with other dogs. Cute as a button and not much bigger than one. :)Her bark is on the lower side- she is a good guard dog, she growls a couple warnings when she hears the neighbors but isn’t obnoxious or yappy! You will fall in love with this sweet girl! She’s not trained yet as she’s a pup, but she is quite smart— she learned how to walk on a leash in a day, with another dog in two days, and she’s improving drastically at going outside and letting me know! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  [WaldosRescue.org](http://waldosrescue.org/)  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. Meet Finley. This sweet Catahoula girl just wants to be loved! Her favorite place to be is wherever you are, and she'll happily park herself on the floor somewhere nearby and hang out for hours while you WFH (though she does like to get between you and your laptop occasionally to demand some affection). She loves to follow her human around the house, but is learning to stay when told and getting pretty good at it! Finley is a mellow pup at home and never barks. She loves to go out for long walks, and if you let her, she'll take you for a jog. She's still getting used to the hustle and bustle of NYC, and sometimes gets a little skittish around big trucks and loud noises, but mostly likes to go exploring. Finley has some lingering emotional baggage from a man who wasn't very nice to her (some of us can relate!), and sometimes gets scared when she encounters one she doesn't know in close quarters. Finley makes new friends quickly, and is easily convinced to cooperate with a treat. She recently discovered barbecue potato chips, and thinks they are AMAZING. She is very well housetrained even when she needs to wait longer than usual for her walk and is great about hanging out in her crate when she needs to stay at home on her own.
