DOB: 3/14/21 Anthony is a true gentleman, quiet, super playful, purr machine who is ready for a loving family of his own! He is an adorable, easygoing, little boy who has been with his foster parents for a few months. He came to us with his mom and 4 siblings when he was just three weeks old. In the time he's been with his fosters, he's grown from a trembling kitten who was still crawling to an adventurous sweet boy. Every morning he walks over to us for acknowledgment before he romps away to play. He love to be petted and when playtime is done works his way back to us to take his naps. Anthony’s favorite pastimes are naps, eating, cuddling, playing and running! He is not a picky eater and has chowed down on every new food with gusto.  He’ll often come and sleep and purr on you as you are working on your computer. He loves to watch fish videos on Youtube. He is great at amusing himself with various toys, but also loves to chase want toys. Anthony plays well with his siblings, so he would be happy with other cats assuming there is careful introduction, and would make an ideal companion for anyone looking for a playful kitten.    If you are looking to adopt two kittens, please consider his brother Benedict (ID#S777), they are a stunning pair of black and whites.   Special consideration will go to adopters looking to adopt a pair of kittens. DOB: 6/1/18 Ash is a wonderful boy. He was part of a group of cats owned by 1 man who lived alone and passed away 2 days before Christmas, 2020.  While this man was in the hospital trying to survive a stroke, his brother forced all of the cats outside and abandoned them with no care or food.  The community got involved to trap, care and support these animals who lost their dad who never came back home.  He has been in my foster care ever since December of last year.    Ash is very sweet and active.  He uses a litter box and scratch post very well.  He typically enjoys being commingled with other cats once he gets used to them.  But he can be a solo cat as well.  He is spayed, fully vaccinated and very healthy.  He loves to play with wand toys and will entertain you for hours.  He is a “great Goalie” catching toys in the air and trapping them on the ground.  He has not been around children or dogs; only cats both male and female.  He loves to be pet and lick treats right from the back of your hand.  He has a sweet purr that sounds similar to a pigeon cooing.  He is really a fun sweet boy. DOB: 1/26/21  Silly Aster is probably the wildest one of the group, yet incredibly affectionate and isn't shy about showing his love towards his foster Mom. He loves wrestling with his siblings, Indigo and Iris, but once he spots his favorite human, he runs over to her and sits on her lap or perches on her shoulder.  He loves giving kisses and getting his tummy rubbed too. He is a very high energy kitten who loves playtime with his siblings and is always the first one to the bowl when it's time to eat. Due to his young age and energy level, this adorable kitty would love to be adopted with one of his siblings. These siblings have truly bonded and need to be adopted in pairs only. DOB: 3/15/21 Blackberry is Lucy's remaining son, a black velvet mini-panther.  All of his siblings have been adopted.  He loves his momma and likes to imitate her -- when she meows, he meows; when she eats, he eats; when she uses the litter box, he uses the litter box.  It's so cute!  They love to look out of the window together and enjoy the sun.  Blackberry is very energetic and playful and would love a home with another kitten or young cat, or best of all his own mama, and lots of toys.  He's very chatty and makes little squeaking noises with every jump and move.  He is totally adorable.  We'd love to see him stay with his momma as she is quite bonded and proud of her first and only litter, but it's also okay if they are adopted separately.  We'd prefer a  quiet home with no dogs or small children. DOB: 12/1/20 Bliss and Bunny are very special girls!  They were rescued from the city shelter (along with their brother) where they were about to be euthanized as the shelter did not recognize that they had a neurological condition, called Cerebellar Hypoplasia.  We have a lot of experience with caring for cats with this condition so we immediately knew we had to rescue them.  Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a neurological condition where the brain does not develop properly and it causes cats to be wobbly when they walk and sometimes lose balance. In the girls case they have an extremely mild form of it, so they are able to do everything that other cats can do – they just have a very cute wobble when they walk and run.  Occasionally they will stumble, but they can climb and also are able to use the litter box without any problem.  Bliss is the more social of the sisters and likes human company, and they both love all of the other free roaming cats at the nursery.  They certainly don’t let their condition slow them down and most of the time you would never even know that they are any different from the other cats.  We think they are purrfect just the way they are. You may also be able to catch glimpses of the girls if you tune in to our nursery livestream https://explore.org/livecams/kitten-rescue/kitten-rescue-baby-kittens. DOB: 3/29/21Bonita and Cutie Patootie are a super sweet and playful Mother/Daughter pair looking for a loving furrever home. Bonita was rescued as a pregnant teen. Upon arriving, she was scared and hid, but after a few days of her foster mom’s patient “sweet-talk' Bonita decided foster mom was okay. By the time Bonita’s kittens were born, she and foster mom were best friends. Bonita is very affectionate, playful and talkative. She loves to listen to her human friends talk and is happy to respond with all of her opinions. She still has a lot of playful kitten energy. She plays with her kittens often, chasing and wrestling with them. Her very favorite things are sparkle balls, ball towers and track toys. Bonita thinks head and chin scratches are The Best. She would love a nice window perch where she could watch the outside world or curl up for a nap.Cutie Patootie is Bonita’s mini-me! Not only does she look exactly like Bonita, Cutie adores her mama and follows her around everywhere! Cutie has tons of energy and can be very rambunctious when playing with her mom and siblings. The leader of the bunch, Cutie is the bravest, most confident, curious and usually the first to try everything. Together they make a great pair; beautiful, playful and affectionate. They will play together, snuggle together and groom each other. They will keep each other company while you’re away and cheerfully welcome you home when you return.True to their names, Bonita and Cutie Patootie are beautiful classic brown tabbies with distinctive swirl markings on their sides. Bonita is a fairly petite cat while Cutie has consistently been the largest amongst her siblings. Bonita enjoys belly rubs and even sits patiently as foster mom trims her nails. Cutie sleeps in some silly positions, usually paws up to show off her adorable spotted belly. Bonita and Cutie are looking for a quiet home with a patient adopter who will allow them the time they need to adjust to their new surroundings. Someone who has lots of time for snuggles and play and doesn’t mind if it takes a little time and effort to win them over. They would do best in an adult-only household. To see more photos and videos of these adorable girls please check out: instagram.com/purrfostermama If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. DOB: 3/1/14 Briggs and Cheyenne are a bonded pair of slightly older cats who definitely don't act their age -- and all the better for us, 'cause the fun and antics know no end with these two. Here are some words that Briggs's foster mom uses to describe this endearing fellow: Playful and mischievous, curious and persistent, sweet, affectionate and cuddly, funny and cute, talkative and loud, easy going. She says he gets along great with other cats, he's very people oriented and wants to be where his human is, but isn't clingy, he gives kisses, and most of all, he's got TONS of personality.   And this is what she says about Brigg's girlfriend Cheyenne: Besides being a real beauty, Cheyenne is sweet and affectionate, she starts purring the second you touch her, she's independent but also loving, she's playful, confident, and she gets along with other pets that are friendly. She's a lovely lady cat and an all-around good girl.   So you can see these two are a couple of wonderful felines. They're healthy and youthful, upbeat and loving, easy going and fun. What more could a person ask for? Would you like to be the lucky one???
