About Grandpa Marlin 20613

A note about me from my foster Denise:bout Grandpa Merlin..called Grandpa. Had a home at one time...very domesticated. Gained strength....could barely jump up on the bed at first. Eye infections are gone. Still getting eye ointment once or twice a day to reduce inflammation vet said. Sees me coming with eye ointment at bedtime and he runs away. LOL So smart! Has gained 4 pounds...10 pounds now. Prefers canned food....rarely eats dry. Loves Temptations chicken treats. Fed canned chicken or turkey food 3 times a day but always wants to eat....tries to eat other kitties food and follows hoomans to kitchen every time. Likes people food for treats now and then....chicken, turkey, tuna and. canned whipped cream! Begs for people food when hoomans are eating. (Learned habit but not from us!) Very gentle kitty...never scratched or tried to bite. Great litter box habits. After 2 weeks started playing with 1 other cat...chasing each other, playing with toys. Knew what toys were. Not crazy about being picked up but will come when seat is patted and called over. Cannot get enough attention.....loves petting all over, scratching around the ears and under chin, belly rubs and more. Knows these words: His name Come on Breakfast Dinner Treat treat No no No outside Over all the sweetest cat I have met considering the shape he was in when he was found. Thanks for the opportunity to foster him. He has gotten tons of love from us and will make someone a wonderful pet! The hardest part of fostering is giving them up. No more for me! REALLY THIS TIME! Love you guys! Denise
