About Rumor
Meet Rumor! Rumor is an incredibly gentle and sweet southern bell. She was very shy when first coming to NYC, but has warmed up very quickly. She loves getting attention from her humans, scratches, and snuggles. She is almost perfectly house trained and loves to spend her time playing with other dogs. She is certainly a bit wary of NYC and needs a bit of a confidence boost on walks and on the leash. She loves squeaky toys and taking naps on fluffy blankets or in her crate. Her energy level is moderate - she plays AND naps a lot throughout the day! She would love a family who is as loving and sweet as she is, and is willing to help build her confidence up! Rumor can be nervous around new and unfamiliar dogs. However, she has warmed up to her resident foster canine sibling after repeated slow introductions. We think she would thrive as the only dog in the household, or with a patient family that can help her get familiar with a resident dog, with many slow introductions ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at [WaldosRescue.org](http://waldosrescue.org/) and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States ##1057224##
