About Lemon
Little Lemon is a low maintenance gentleman who is happy to lounge with you through the day! Lemon is fully blind, so he needs some time to map out his surroundings before settling into a new space, but once he does, he navigates just fine with his other senses. Despite being unable to see, Lemon does just fine when meeting new people, he's an incredibly gentle guy! Lemon was abandoned at ACCT in early March, and his foster has helped him through some anxiety that has come along with being in a new space. Once he is used to his routine and knows that he is in a safe, loving home, he has no issues sleeping through the night in his crate. An adopter should be prepared for some transitional stress in the beginning, but he with patience and time, he will come around just fine! Like many senior dogs, Lemon has some minor lumps and bumps that should be monitored with a vet, but do not require treatment at this time. He could live with both cats and small dogs, though he has not met any large dogs, he would probably do fine as long as they respect his space.
