Rudolph Valentino (Rudy), a very handsome young adult, is an independent boy who loves meal time, play time, and treat time. He can be a bit skittish when initially approached, but if there’s a treat or a wand toy ready for him, he’ll come right back to you. After a good play session, Rudy relaxes and enjoys gentle pets and attention. Rudy loves other cats and has bonded well with the four cats in his foster home. As a result, we think it best if he is adopted into a home where there are other cats for him to play with. Because of his bashfulness and tendency to be a little skittish at times, Rudy is best suited for a quiet, adult home where he will be the center of attention and can continue to respond to patience and gentle socialization. Rudy has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV tested negative. His adoption fee of $95 helps Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control continue their life-saving helping to save Chicago's neediest animals. The Wakanda kittens are ready to find their adoptive homes! These sweet babies have been raised in a foster home with lots of love and lots of children. They are all super affectionate, and they wait at your feet to be scooped up and smothered in kittens. They are turning 8 weeks old this week, so they are ready for foster-to-adopt homes this week. Foster-to-adopt homes will have to bring the kittens to their spay/neuter appointment, which will be arranged and paid for by the rescue, but their new homes will be responsible for transporting them. The kittens must be adopted in pairs or trios, unless there is another very young cat in the home. Zuri and Shuri are quite bonded and must be adopted together. Okoye and Shuri are the fluffiest babies and will likely have long hair. T'challa and Nakia are the most playful of the bunch, running constantly. Their adoption fee is $125 each.
