About Kingsley
DOB: 4/21/16 Kingsley is a lap cat that loves attention and affection (and wet food!). He is also strikingly handsome but he doesn’t let his good looks and charm go to his head. Kingsley is a confident, well-mannered guy that would love a forever home that can shower him with the love and attention he craves and deserves. He will return the love and affection he is given, 10-fold. He likes to take long naps laying across your lap or curled up in his cat bed. On cold days, he will accept a warm heating pad in lieu of your lap, when you are too busy to cuddle with him. He has occasional spurts of energy and will toss around catnip filled toys or get a case of the zoomies. Let’s not forget to mention his beautiful smoky fur coat that is black with white roots. His foster mom calls him a chameleon because his fur coat tends to change with the seasons, becoming blacker in the winter and more white/grey in the summer. It's pretty cool. Kingsley doesn't mind friendly, beta cats, or dogs that will leave him be, though he would also be perfectly happy in a single-cat household. In 2019, Kingsley received a diabetic diagnosis and had to receive insulin injections twice a day. Fortunately, his diabetes went into remission just 4 months later and has not returned. He is currently happy and healthy and has no special needs aside from requiring a diet of wet food only (no kibble). If you want a chill lap cat and don't mind a little drool, you are invited to meet the regal Kingsley to see if he is the right cat for you.
