Amaya has been in the care of a welcoming warm foster home enjoying life with her people and two other dogs, a male and a female. and one is about her own size and likeness. Amaya is petite and about 40 lbs. Her most active moments are when she is playing and running in the backyard with her home friends. She can also take short walks and for longer walks her foster folks accomodate her with wagon rides, how awesome is that? A single story home is best for Amaya without flights of stairs to deal with, a few stairs are perfectly OK. A small yard space to graze in for quick and easy potty breaks is also on Amaya`s wish list. Amaya`s not a guard dog, she`s rather quiet, her hearing isn`t as keen as it once was and she never barks, except in her sleep sometimes, so cute! And she`s definately an indoors gal - she hopes her new people will be sympathetic to aging people and pets and understand they can still be active and have a lot of enthusiasm toward life. Her advocates at ClassicCaninesATX have helped her reach her health potential so she`s ready for the rest of the best of her years. Follow the instructions on her link to meet her or reach out to

Meet Annie! She is a young, energetic pup who loves being around people... her favorite thing is getting some snuggles and pets! Annie loves going on outings to the park... she has SO much fun sniffing` all the things and meeting all the people! Her shelter BFF has also taken her to eat pizza (YUM!!) as well as to an agility class (gotta burn off those pizza-eating calories!). Annie adapts easily to each new situation and always has a smile on her face. She is 100% an adventure buddy! Annie has potential to live with another confident dog once she’s had plenty of time to decompress from the stress of the shelter. She really needs someone who is patient and willing to go slowly with her. Luckily Annie comes with lots of support from the Orange Dot Crew (a volunteer advocacy group) and free training thanks to Friends of AAC. An ideal home for Annie will be with someone who wants to take her on walks to work her little body and then provide her with enrichment items and puzzle toys to work her little mind! She would likely be too much doggo for young kids but teenagers who want to help with her training would be great! Annie would also do best in a house with a yard. Annie is growing up in the shelter and we won’t sugarcoat it… it’s tough on her. She deserves a real home… she deserves a family.
