About Sapphire

Say hello to Sapphire! This gem of a cat is about two years old and is getting lots of love and snuggles in a foster home. But she would love a forever home to call her own. Sapphire is housetrained and good with other cats, but is also content on her own. She likes to snuggle with her people, but only if she initiates it - this girl certainly has a mind of her own! This kitty loves to play with wrapped candy to bat around and balls with bells inside. She also likes to bring humans their dish towels while they're sleeping. The ideal home for this girl is one with other cats or by herself. She does get mouthy so a house with kids would not be a good fit. This sweet cat deserves the perfect forever home. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt Sapphire today! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise. Please note that Alex is FIV+. We encourage anyone interested in Alex to research FIV before applying. The primary mode of transmission for FIV is through bite wounds from an infected cat. Casual, non-aggressive contact, such as sharing water bowls or mutual grooming, does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus. As a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk of acquiring FIV infections. This pet is available for pre-adoption and may not be officially ready for adoption, as it is still undergoing medical treatment. We anticipate that Alex will be ready for her forever home by mid-July. Depending on the medical status, a Meet and Greet may be put on hold until they can safely participate in a meeting with potential adopters. In some cases, this pet may be able to move to its forever home while it is still under the medical care of Dallas Pets Alive. If you are interested in learning more, apply now and one of our Adoption Counselors will discuss the options available so you can bring home your new furry family member! Applications are processed in the order in which they are received; please be aware that this pet may have interested applicants ahead of you. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Say hello to Beck! This little guy was found during the freeze but has warmed up nicely in a loving foster home. He'd love a forever home to call his own, though! Beck is a young guy, about six months old, and has plenty of kitten energy. He may only have three legs that work properly, but that doesn't slow him down! His foster says Beck still hops around pretty well on the three good legs. As for toys, his favorite is a feather on a string...he can chase it for hours. When it's not play time, he loves to climb into a lap for snuggles. Beck is litterbox trained and good with other cats. His foster describes him as inquisitive, rambunctious, sociable and affectionate. He's a great little cat with lots of energy and personality! An ideal home for Beck is a patient one where he can get used to his surroundings. He's a bit skittish at first but comes out of his shell if his people play with him. This kitten deserves the perfect forever home. Could that be with you? Apply to adopt Beck today!
