Bacon is looking for his perfect forever home: one without young children and where he can take time to settle in and get to know his owner. He shows his love with very cute meows and purrs. Bacon is very vocal so you can easily tell when he wants to eat, play, or just wants some attention. He enjoys having conversations back and forth if you respond to his meows with meows of your own. Currently, Bacon doesn't like to be picked up but he is slowly becoming more open to being held/touched by his foster. While he's slowly warming up to physical interactions, he is good at giving lots of signals showing what he likes/doesn't like and if he's feeling upset or overwhelmed. Bacon is a very playful, low-maintenance and well-trained older cat. He loves playing with his mouse toy and string. Buddy arrived at the shelter with some dental issues and missing multiple teeth. Our amazing vets will give him a dental, but he will need regular visits to your private vet to keep him feeling great. Aren't I the cutest thing you have ever seen? Everyone loves a puppy, but before you bring me home there are a couple of things you need to consider. I am a blank slate - I'm not house trained (potty-trained), chew trained, and don't know anything yet. Like a new baby, I will need a lot of attention, a lot of love, and constant supervision. To become a well rounded dog, I would do best starting in a training class where I can learn to be social with not only people, but other dogs as well. Kittens thrive on having another cat or kitten to keep them entertained, as they can get lonely when their favorite people are away from the house. Kittens have not yet learned manners, so they will need someone to teach them important skills like how to use a scratching post, that curtain climbing will probably not be allowed in their new home, and that hands are great for getting pet and filling food bowls, not to nibble on. In the beginning Claw understandably had a hard time getting used to all the changes in her life -- her whole world has been turned upside down and she didn't know why. It has been hard for her and her sister Grey to adapt to their new temporary lifestyle here in the shelter. Although adjusting to the shelter life has been quite hard, with the love and support from one another, Claw and Grey has completely come out of their shell. Both girls are outgoing and attention seekers but Claw always makes sure the attention remains on her. Claw and her sister Grey are bonded so they will have to be adopted out together. With a little patience, lots of love and all the comforts of a cozy home, Claw and Grey will show you more of their wonderful personality. Coby has a history of living with small children and is friendly with humans. Coby does have a history of being reactive to other dogs so he will need to be the only animal in the home. Coby also will not be suitable for high rise living, or a highly dog populated area/building. Coby is housebroken but may need sometime to adjust to a new schedule and environment when he finds a home.
