Hello, I am Ontario!I am a sweet and mellow boy who truly enjoys my walks with the humans. I CAN NOT live with cats and would prefer to be the only pet. When I am happy, I love to rub my back on the grass and make funny noises. Walking with me is easy since I do not pull very much, unless I see a cat. If you are looking for a gentle big boy like me, please email my friends @ ; I am accepting appointments on a `first available, first serve` basis. When you email please include my ID # A1203776 your name, phone number, and date(s) and time(s) you`re available to visit me.Love,OntarioNotes from Shelter Volunteers:Ontario`s a Chow Mix. He mostly displays more Chow personality. When he doesn`t know you that well, he will come across as disinterested, but after a few interactions, he will begin to warm up and will play with you, come to you when called. He is pretty independent and will fill his time doing other things instead of playing with you. He loves his lower back rubbed. He is reactive to dogs and if you play rough with him, he will do the same to you. He doesn`t like cats at all. He will do better in a household with no little kids or small animals or other dogs.05/19/21 12:23Coughing.KTyson05/24/21 17:30Coughing resolved.SharonO

07/06/21 16:35 BEATRICE -- (A1214343)Beatrice is a majestic beauty. When out exercising, she makes everyone aware of her regal presence as the alpha female as she takes the floor to do graceful laps and then lounge elegantly. She has had a bumpy start in life which makes her slightly reserved around people initially. But once you earn her trust, she warms up for gentle pets, and treats (of course). She`s a go-slow lady who would thrive most in an adult environment with people willing to give her lots of love, royal treatment, and some space to adjust to a wonderful new life. She would free roam easily in a bunny-proofed home -- which could quickly become her Queenly kingdom. Her care requirements include:Indoor housing only in a large space to explore, play, and run.Exercise pens (x-pens) are a must. Two x-pens attached together provide adequate space. NO Cages or Hutches – too small!Soft fleece blankets and area rugs to sleep on.Lots of hay and fresh leafy greens.A large hide cardboard box.Chew toysNail trim every 6 - 8 weeksRHDV vaccinationIf you would like to know more about Beatrice, please contact shelter rabbit volunteer, Cheryl at 408-621-3773.
