She was completely emaciated and scrounging through garbage trying to find something to eat. Her ears and tail appear to have been docked by a backyard breeder and done inhumanely. Hack job is probably the most accurate description. She has been over bred. But with all that said, she is truly an angel. She has the softest and most gentle disposition. She is quiet and almost seems to tiptoe around. She is good with all humans, kids, dogs and cats! She was probably purchased as a pup to be a fighting dog and due to her gentle disposition she was used as a breeding machine and when they were done with her she was tossed out on the street. Sad but not uncommon for Mexico. Our vets believe she is around 3-4 years old. Would you like to meet Athena? Do you have a space in your heart and home for this gentle soul? All the way around, but especially for the family pets that do not have any choice or voice in the matter. Well sweet Bella is in that situation. She is a sweet little girl who is deaf. That doesn't slow her down! She is playful and silly with keen senses. She is the best of both worlds... when we play = YAY! when we cuddle = Yay! Due to her hearing impairment she has become adapt at reading her human's facial expressions. Smart, smart, smart! She does well on a leash, she is cat friendly, she is toddler friendly (current baby is 2.5 years old). She is good with most dogs, but the big ones intimidate her a little. She is an overall excellent dog that needs a new family for her retirement years. She still as a lot of life left in her and being deaf doesn't make her less than.... it makes her special. He is extremely smart and picked up commands very quickly. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and therefore a home with an active lifestyle or yard is a great place for him. He picks a favorite spot in the living room and can be found napping most times in his spot! He does well on a leash and is house trained. This boy is all fun! Goliath is a lab/shepard mix at around 3 years old. Golith is about 40 to 45 lbs now. He is a fun loving dude who loves to play, wrestle and go full speed whenever the opportunity arises. Goliath would fit easily into a home with a like energy dog and would seriously be up for most anything with you and whatever pack of friends you bring along. He could throw down for a game of football, chase a basketball or try his paw at tennis if the conditions were right, athletic as he is. As much as he goes hard when he plays, Goliath can settle into a crate like a good boy and naps just as hard. Goliath would like to be your love muffin in 2021 and promises to make everyday happier and a little more, heck a lot more, fun! He is the absolute sweetest soul and has the best manners! He is great with other dogs and doesn’t even seem to mind the dog savy cats. He would be best in a home without super little kids as he gets a little excited at first ,but loves his people with his whole heart. He’s happy to romp around the beach or go walking to find fun sticks to play with. He’s a great pup with great manners already under his belt! He does have some sensitive skin so needs someone who will take care of his skin with his allergy pills and food without chicken etc. He is waiting to meet new friends for adventures, could that be you?
