About MAX
Max is my name! I am a really nice guy who loves affection. I have a bit of a limp because of one of the joints in my leg. I have been to the vet who said I am healthy but may always be gimpy. I was surrendered because my owner could no longer take care of me. I am looking for a new home now and if you would like to have me, that would be paw-some! DOB 4-11-20 Max has a luxating patella, or slipping kneecap, in his hind leg which causes him to limp. It is a condition where the kneecap dislocates or moves out of its normal location. Max walks with a permanent limp, but our vet advises that Max does not require surgery or any other special treatment. He is not in any pain. He is able to function, playing and jumping, like a normal cat.
