This sweet Terrier, Pit Bull mix girl is Addie! Originally from Beaumont, this beauty came to us after being rescued from hurricane season in late August and is now looking for her FUR-ever home in SA! She recently recovered from an orthopedic surgery following a leg injury and was our first pet to use our new underwater treadmill! She was the perfect patient in our new medical building, where she also received laser therapy to accelerate her healing. She's now fully recovered and ready to be adopted. She is a sweet girl who loves to play, cuddle and shred all her enrichment cardboard toys. She will do best in a home with no cats. She does get along with other dogs and can come off a bit too excited when greeting another dog. A lovely face, nice white leg warmers, and a cafe-au-lait coat make her one very attractive lady. Her beautiful green eyes will melt your heart! Addie's adoption fee has been waived thanks to our Guardian Angel Fund. Our pet adoption screening process still applies. Adoption ProcessPeople, who are interested in adopting a pet(s), need to fill out an application and send an email to adoption@SAhumane.org (please include the name of the pet(s) and ID# on the subject line, as well as attach a government-issued ID and proof of residence). All the information will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis, and adoption interviews will take place over the phone. Adopters will speak with one of our Adoption Counselors to review the application and go over information regarding the pet and additional services/products available. Standard Adoption Fees: Dogs 1 Year and over - $50, Puppy Under 1 Year - $135, Cats 1 Year and over - $35, Kittens Under 1 Year - $70.
