This sweet Pit Bull Terrier girl is Addie! Originally from Beaumont, this beauty came to us after being rescued from Hurricane Laura last August and is now looking for her FUR-ever home in SA! She underwent surgery to correct a leg injury and received physical therapy - including walking on an underwater treadmill! She's now fully recovered and ready to be adopted. She is a sweet girl who loves to play and cuddle with you. She will do best in a home with no cats. Her beautiful green eyes will melt your heart!Addie's adoption fee has been waived thanks to our Guardian Angel Fund. Our pet adoption screening process still applies. Meet Barry! When this sweet 3-year-old Retriever boy arrived at the SAHS, we instantly noticed he had a painful neck injury caused from an embedded collar injury. He instantly received the love and care he desperately needed. Our amazing clinic team used laser therapy and medical-grade honey to treat his wound. His neck bandages were changed daily and was spoiled with extra love and treats! He's just a sweet, loving and grateful boy. He absolutely LOVES toys and treats! He has already stolen the hearts of our entire staff and is ready to steal yours too! He's all better now and is ready to find his forever home. Meet Brody! The more we get to know this handsome Pit Bull Terrier boy, the more we fall in love! He's an energetic pup ready to be your new buddy! He loves to explore and learn new tricks, especially when he's rewarded with treats. We do recommend a Freedom Harness to walk him as he is strong and can pull. He knows how to "sit" and loves to meet new people! He has recently added "down" to his resumé. He loves to play and gets along with other dogs. Because of his high energy personality, a dog introduction is required if there is another dog in the same household. He is still learning his manners and commands, but he is making good progress thanks to the help of our amazing volunteers. When he is off-leash in the play yard, he LOVES chasing tennis balls one after the other until he finally calls for a time-out, and then, he's all in for belly rubs! Will you be his new family?
