Alba loves her people and will sit on your lap (if you don't mind a little encroachment), or be your exercise buddy-anything that keeps you by her side makes Alba one happy girl! She is a smart one too-already house trained, leash trained, and knows some commands! Alba does like her space though so a home with another casual, chill dog is fine but she would prefer a home without an “in your face” playmate. Because of her more laid back personality, Alba would do best in a home with adults and older children as the young ones can be a bit too much for her. She is just a relaxed, happy chill girl. Meet this curious kitty-Amelia! This sweet girl found herself on the doorstep of a Good Samaritan. This well-fed young tabby was loving and social so assuming she was owned, her finder searched for her owner. Time went on and nobody claimed little Amelia so to SNIPSA she came! As soon as she entered our doors, this kitty was happy to great everyone and was as friendly as can be. She ventured around our office and claimed the big dog toy box as her own. Amelia loves to curl up on the top of the couch right by your head and will purr nice and loud for all to hear. When she’s done with his cat nap, you’ll find Amelia sneaking around the house wanting to play a game of hide and seek! Velcro dog!! This sums her up. Mrs. Toad is a WONDERFUL dog. She is your instant friend and thinks you are her superstar. Mrs. Toad originated from a local shelter with her four pups - all of which have been adopted. She is so much fun - jumping in her foster mom's car as soon as she sees her pull up in the driveway. She loves to go along for a ride to pick up carpool. She makes an excellent co-pilot and is very well behaved as she travels. Mrs. Toad is also a great walker - she doesn't weigh much so is easy to pick up and carry. She is also an athlete- yes all 15 lbs of her. She is oh so smart and can jump on pots to climb fences or has even been seen to climb ladders. These are tricks that most dogs will never master. She would make an incredible agility dog for those interested in this sort of thing or simply keep you on your toes. She takes long naps, isn't overly barky, is housebroken, does beautifully with other dogs, and is crate trained. She is very motivated by food. If her foster didn't already have a house full of dogs, she would keep her in a heartbeat- she is that great of a dog.
