About SCOUT
Hi! My name is Scout, and Iâm one of the newbies from Wilco. I love when my friends stop by my kennel to say hi. I do a little tap dance when they do ... (especially if thereâs a treat or two involved).Iâm starting to figure out my new digs, and while I miss my friends at Wilco, Iâm making so many more here at AAC! Iâm also starting some force/fear free training with my new human friends, and am so excited to know so many good boy tricks! I love ALL THE THINGS!!!- Cheese, chicken, hot dogs, lamb loaf, training treats, bones ... Oh! And donât mind my big-boy borks when you first walk up... itâs just my way of saying âHi!â I am silly and goofy and full of playful energy, the kind of dog that will have you laughing at my antics every day. The kind of dog that has a special knack for bringing a smile to your face, no matter what kind of day you`re having! Iâm dreaming of a forever home with my own person. Is that you? Scout is one of our very first Shelter Exchange Program participants from Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. The Shelter Exchange Program is an innovative new partnership to give longstay dogs stuck in the shelter system exposure to new adopters and a new community in hopes of finding them the perfect family. Three of our longstay dogs are now at Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter while three of theirs are now with us.Click here to view my behavior notes.
