Bright Eyed Blueberry!  Blueberry is one giant love bug. He likes to stare at you with his crazy intense eyes sometimes but the end results are just kisses and him trying to cuddle! When he isn’t cuddling, he loves to play with toys. He is 6 years old and still very much puppy like. His nickname at his fosters home is baby moose. Although not fully necessary, a house with a fenced in yard would probably be best for him so he can get his zoomies on outside! He loves nature and just taking in all the sunshine and sounds. He could stay out there for hours and be perfectly content. Although we do not 100% know his back story or why his owners abandoned him, he had shown no aggression issues at all. He does great with other dogs and is very submissive. We have not had him around cats, but he has seen some outside and just stood there. Blueberry is currently working on his manners and fully learning right from wrong! For the most part he does great but every now and then (usually when he has built up energy) he likes to rebel! He now knows sit, lay down, treat, and “no”. Doesn’t always listen to “no” but it does make him stop and think first! Someone with pitbull and/or large breed experience would probably do best with him. He has only been around a few smaller kids but has been good with all of them. We kept him supervised with them just due to his size. Blueberry would LOVE to find his furever home so he can finally settle in and share his love.    ##961715## show less

Meet Cinnamon! Foster Update: Cinnamon has made a lot of progress in foster care and very much loves to cuddle once she’s comfortable around you. She has still yet to bark indoors and chills next to me or wherever I go for the most part. She honestly has really great manners for being a stray and will obey if you tell her to come or stop doing something. Shes very much food motivated and is constantly looking for food even if just fed. She’s very smart and learned how to sit within the first week. She also was disinterested in toys at first but she now enjoys a giraffe tug toy and other things to bite. She’s not a chewer but is curious about most things and people when they enter. I’m usually WFH on my laptop most weekdays and she’s fine hanging on my bed sleeping. She does come looking for attention and play time which is good and can be energetic during the mornings and night times (mostly food driven). She is house trained and has never gone potty inside my apt except the first couple nights. We’ve also made a lot of progress during our walks. At first she was constantly pulling and not listening to me but she now walks at my pace (maybe slightly faster) and doesn’t sniff garbage bags/cans as much. She will try to eat things off the street however so we really have to be watching her closely. She needs at least 3 walks a day and does her business pretty quickly which is good. She’s not good with cats or pigeons along our walks and we’re still working on her social skills with other dogs. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  [WaldosRescue.org](http://waldosrescue.org/)  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Meet Daisy! Daisy is an extremely calm, sweet and quiet girl. She is house trained and does not bark. She enjoys long walks on her leash and sniffing around bushes. Walks well on her leash and does not pick up random scraps on the ground. Daisy LOVES attention and being pet. She is a huge people pup and loves to plop herself right next to you and take a nap. Although she does not know any commands yet & she is very respectful of the space. She waits outside the kitchen for her food and will not venture into any rooms unless invited. She also cleans up after herself (brings all her toys to her bed before sleeping)! Overall this amazing pup would be an excellent addition to any household. Meet Doyle! Doyle has a tough exterior but is a total softie. He likes long walks around the city or in parks but is also a fan of Netflix and chilling, as long as you promise to snuggle him the whole time. When out and about, he is a bit of a flirt; he likes to say hi to every human and dog he passes. He's not an expert on the leash but we're working on it and he is proving to be a fast learner! He appears to be potty trained. Doyle's a gentle soul and will charm his way into your heart with his sweet demeanor and beautiful green eyes. He would make an amazing work-from-home buddy or a companion to kids or other dogs. You won't regret bringing Doyle into your home! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. Meet Dudley! Meet Dudley! He’s a loving, playful pup that gets along with everyone he meets (humans or dogs)! Dudley is a 35 pound dog who’s so well behaved. He’s potty trained and sleeps through the night with no problem! He rarely barks and loves to have his belly scratched. He likes long walks and sleeps on and off throughout the day. He’s gotten along with my friends and strangers. Honestly Dudley has been so easy to foster! Dudley is a stage 5 clinger, he won’t leave your side and will even attempt to follow you into the bathroom haha. He needs to work on leash pulling and chewing on things he shouldn’t but we’re working through that. I can tell with each day he gets more comfortable and less inclined to act up.
