Two year old Magoo is a very smart, alert and curious cat who entertains himself playing, exploring his surroundings, or spending time looking out the window at the birds. He can be independent, but he also likes head scratches and pets. He’s a young ball of athletic energy who especially enjoys playtime. He’s a lot of fun to play with and will entertain you with his antics. Magoo is best suited for a more spacious environment where he can run and play to his heart’s content. He could be a good choice for someone looking for a playful companion for their young resident cat. Magoo has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV tested negative. Nushka's name means “Precious Possession”, and he certainly is precious. He’s a very sweet, athletic, independent lynx-point boy, roughly 2 1/2 years old. He’s not a lap cat, but does love attention. He’s a big boy (13 lbs) with a small but persistent purr. Once he trusts you, he will roll over and ask for belly rubs, but he'll let you know when he's had enough by giving a small nip. Nushka is happiest spending time up on his cat tree, surveying the birds, squirrels, and clouds. He’s a bit of an escape artist, so make sure you know where he is when you open doors to the outside. When he’s prowling the house, he’ll sometimes cruise across tables (dining, coffee, etc.), but doesn’t rest on them. His previous family has supplied him with several electronic toys, but until he’s really comfortable, he won’t show much interest in them. They trained him to sit for treats, and he’ll usually oblige. Nushka uses his scratching pad, but will also occasionally scratch furniture. He needs a high-sided or covered litter box, because he kicks his litter around quite vigorously. He is patient with being combed, but requires a second person to hold him while clipping his claws. Nushka previously lived with two cats and is currently sharing his foster home with an older female cat and a senior dog, but he is best suited to live as an only pet, and cannot live with birds or small mammals He will probably be happiest in an adults-only home, but might be good with children over 10. Oreo is a super sweet 3 year old male tuxedo cat. He's truly the ultimate sweetheart and prefers to spend his days snuggling away with his humans. He's the perfect lap cat who loves cuddling and his mellow personality seems to get along with everyone. Oreo's favorite pastimes include making muffins during his many cuddle sessions & chatting away to get his next pet. He gets along great with both cats & dogs in his foster home. Rudolph Valentino (Rudy), a very handsome young adult, is an independent boy who loves meal time, play time, and treat time. He can be a bit skittish when initially approached, but if there’s a treat or a wand toy ready for him, he’ll come right back to you. After a good play session, Rudy relaxes and enjoys gentle pets and attention. Rudy loves other cats and has bonded well with the four cats in his foster home. As a result, we think it best if he is adopted into a home where there are other cats for him to play with. Because of his bashfulness and tendency to be a little skittish at times, Rudy is best suited for a quiet, adult home where he will be the center of attention and can continue to respond to patience and gentle socialization.
