About Mimi (in San Diego)

Mimi is a sweet loving girl who loves to give kisses and snuggle on your lap or beside her person.  She is 2 - 3 years old, is 12” tall and weighs 17 pounds. Mimi loves to play with other dogs at home and at the dog park.  She rides great in the car, is very comfortable in her crate, walks well on her leash and loves people.  All in all, she pretty much loves life and all the attention she is getting in her foster home. The best home for this little one is a home with another dog for her to play with who will help her feel secure, and a family who loves kisses. If you would like to meet Mimi or know more about her please email rrcainfo@gmail.com or go to our website to fill out an application at www.russellrescueca.com.

Captain Jack is the handsomest boy at 6 years old, 26 pounds and is 18” tall.  He is looking for that special person who will love him for his high energy, terrier personality, and his hearing disability.  He will need activity on a regular schedule and a home who knows the breed.  He is a working terrier. Jack is a high energy boy who will play ball with his person till the cows come home, or his human gets tired of playing ball – whichever comes first!  He is house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car on short trips, but really likes to stay home with his person.  This little guy has a big heart, tons of love and is a very sweet boy for the terrier lover.  Jack hears sharp sounds, familiar sounds and squeaky toys, but his hearing is very limited.  He knows hand signals – sit, come, down, and no. Jacks needs someone who can focus on his needs so he doesn’t just bark.  He does bark a lot.  And he needs someone who will accept him as an active, hard of hearing dog.  He’s not good at a dog park, not good around cats and will not do well in an apartment. If you would like to meet Jack, or know more about him, please email joyoneil2@gmail.com or go to our website to fill out an adoption application at www.russellrescueca.com. show less
