About Zephyr
DOB: 11/17/13 Zephyr is quite a character! She's got both cattitude and tortitude, along with a goodly dose of silliness, cuteness and sweetness. She's extremely playful for a slightly older cat, her favorite toy being the famous Bread Clip. She'll chase after feathers on a string and bat at the ball hanging from the top of the condo; but nothing compares with the Bread Clip! If you can learn to sail one of these off your fingers like a frisbee, she'll chase it, bite it, hunt it, and bat it around until it finally escapes under the couch or refrigerator. If the sun is shining through the window, Zephyr will play tag with a patch of sunlight. Opening a paper packet will have her running to the kitchen, because it can only mean one thing -- TREATS! She has her current human thoroughly trained. Every morning he grooms her, then throws the bread clips for her so she can get some exercise. After that he feeds her and hides a few treats around the apartment while she's eating, to give her something to do. She then uses her box, after which she inevitably gets the Zoomies and dashes around looking for her treats. Then it's nap time, so she curls up in her human's lap and falls sound asleep. Eventually, she'll retire to the bedroom and find a cozy spot on the bed to resume her beauty sleep. Zephyr's human has to move across country, and since Zephyr doesn't travel well, he's trying to find her a new, loving home to spare her the trauma. Would you like to have this spunky tortie girl to keep you occupied learning how to throw bread clips just so? What could be more fun?!
