About *HUGO

Hugo and his brother, Rich A760291, lived their full 9 years together, rooming together and providing companionship and comfort to one another until a housing change landed both in need of a new home. Their former owner describes each as loving, gentle giants. They lived with 2 adults and grew up over the years with 3 kids from very young ages to teen years. Hugo and his brother lived mostly outdoors in their own housing. A chihuahua later joined the family, introduced when they were adult dogs. Hugo, like his brother Rich, is playful and enthusiastic and loves all fun activities like a good run, a good chew or bone, a dip in the water, and is happy playing ball with a friend, or even alone. Hugo is always seen wearing a great big ole’ smile and he’s saving a few for you, when you come to meet him. If you have a dog friend at home for him he’d like the pleasure of meeting your friend too, arrange that with the staff. If you don’t have a dog friend already at home, you might even consider choosing his brother and best friend Rich too, to make a family whole again.

Meet Annie! She is a young, energetic pup who loves being around people... her favorite thing is getting some snuggles and pets!Annie loves going on outings to the park... she has SO much fun sniffin` all the things and meeting all the people! Her shelter BFF has also taken her to eat pizza (YUM!!) as well as to an agility class (gotta burn off those pizza eatin` calories!). Annie adapts easily to each new situation and always has a smile on her face. She is 100% an adventure buddy! Annie has shown friendly and curious interest in other pups, so there is potential for her to live with a confident and playful resident dog, but a meet and greet followed by initial separation in the home will be required. Luckily she comes with lots of support from the Orange Dot Crew (a volunteer advocacy group) and free training thanks to Friends of AAC.An ideal home for Annie will be with someone who wants to take her on walks to work her little body and then provide her with enrichment items and puzzle toys to work her little mind! She would likely be too much doggo for young kids but teenagers who want to help with her training would be great! Annie would do best in a house with a yard, or a lower-traffic apartment complex. Annie is growing up in the shelter and we won’t sugarcoat it… it’s tough on her. She deserves a real home… she deserves a family. Please reach out to learn more about this sweet & sassy gal!
