About Maya

This green-eyed girl has personality for days! What my new family should know about me… While I don’t generally like being picked up and held, I do LOVE attention, being petted and snuggling up in a favorite chair, which I will promptly choose upon arrival to my new home! My favorite toy is… Anything on a string. I pride myself on my laser like abilities to catch anything and everything string related! And don’t get me started on laser tag – that’s my jam! When I am not sleeping or eating, I like to… bask in the sun and entertain myself watching the birds out the window. Things I am good at… Well, I am a pretty good singer! I know my voice and like to share its beautiful harmony with anyone who will listen. Other pets I live with… I am great with dogs, and other cats are just fine, although they don’t really interest me. If Maya sounds like the girl for you, fill out her application today!

Billy Billy Billy Boy! He may be just the happiest Boxer there ever was. Exuberant, obedient, intelligent, outgoing, people friendly, enthusiastic, playful, toy fetching, dog napping, and clown like - that’s our Billy. He is housebroken and loves to sleep on the tiniest of beds. Why is that- big dogs and tiny beds- they tend to go together like bread and butter. He is his own best friend and finds humor in carrying the Bill Miller tea bucket by the handle and tossing it in the air. Billy is working on his manners as he tends to jump when he gets excited. Though incredibly devoted to their owners, Boxers can be headstrong. With appropriate training and positive reinforcement, they eventually figure it out. Billy simply needs a patient and smart owner as Boxers live for the approval of their people. And if you are looking to get outside, Billy loves to go on walks. He gets super excited when he sees his leash. With his athletic build, he makes a great running buddy as well. Boxers can even adapt to apartment living given enough exercise and mental stimulation. Billy originated from a local shelter with a terrible case of Demodex mange. He has been treated and now looks like a runway model. His slick white coat and curious brown eyes always have that goofy look and posture ...”ready when you are.” Boxers are kind hearted and amazing family dogs that typically do well with whoever the meet. Billy has made great progress in the few weeks we have had him and now is ready for his adoptive home. show less
