About Smokey
DOB: 4/14/20 Special needs - Becomes very skittish in a stressful environment, or around anxious or stressed people. He will avoid contact with humans in such environments. A KR Volunteer rescued Smokey and his sister from a backyard. Smokey was distrustful in the beginning, and took his time evaluating whether the humans were “okay”. Now that he has decided, his laid back style is clear. He is a dedicated napper, and enjoys finding unexpected places, such as a small box, basket, and even the top of the cable box inside the TV console. He enjoys playing with his small “mice”, throwing them around and practicing his pouncing technique for long periods of time. He also has some impressive “gymnastic” moves! His motor is a wonderful rumble and sounds like it comes from a much larger cat.
