Hi! I am one of four of a beautiful family that would love to be adopted together! We have been together for a very long time and we are very attached to each other. We are looking for a guardian who would love all 4 of us! My family is Chloe, Boston and St George. I'm shy and quiet but very affectionate. I mostly like to observe the scene and get to know the humans around me.We came from another shelter so we're all ready for a forever home. We would thrive with a guardian who can love all of us together! We know we're a handful but we are so worth it. Unconditional love. 4 ways! **Buddy** Adult Male Pit Bull Approx: 65 lbs Dogs 🐕: with meet and greet Cats 🐈: Unknown but prefer, no. Kids 👶: Older kids possible. Buddy is a very sweet, smooshy faced, loving, power breed looking for a large breed dog-loving guardian! He's a ham and while sweet as they come, he is a strong guy who will need a confident and experienced handler. Buddy was sadly abandoned in the vestibule of Famous Fido, an experience that was quite traumatizing for him, and left him crying actual tears and full of anxiety. We are still getting to know Buddy, who was a bit fearful upon arrival (understandably) but is opening up and becoming a true Staff favorite! Buddy would do best in a quiet environment because he likes to just relax. Buddy snuggles up his big soft snuggly body into his kennel blanket and makes a sweet nest with it. He 'tucks himself' in when it's time to stare at his eyelids and catch up on some ZZzzz's. This sweet man is referred to as 'Beefy Baby' by Staff members and wants nothing more than to be touched. He gives the sweetest kisses and takes treats OH SO GENTLY! Buddy wants to curl up on the couch next to YOU! And so long as he is touching, he's the happiest camper in town. Chicago, IL show less

7-8 year-old Male Tan & White Chihuahua Mix Weight: Approx. 15 lbs. Dogs?: Small dogs, but prefers independence Cats?: Unsure but can test! Kids?: Older kids possibly in a quiet/calm home Charlie here! I’m a sweet, but feisty little alpha male. I am extremely playful and love fetch – even with a huge tennis ball almost as big as my head! I can even dance on my hind legs for a treat. Although I am crate-trained and know lots of basic commands, I’m still working on some behaviors and can’t wait to meet someone who will give me a chance. Since I can be fearful of new people and other dogs at first, please be aware I might nip if I get too nervous. As long as you don’t put your hands in my face though, I can warm up to you in no time! show less

He has been very confused and upset since losing his person, but still has spurts of playful moments with us. It will take time for him to open up fully and trust another human, so he will need someone who is patient and willing to do what it takes to allow him to settle in and feel at ease. Once adjusted, we believe that he will be a wonderful companion and cuddle bug. Because he is very easily startled, we do not recommend him for a home with larger dogs, cats, or small children. show less

If I saw a bonafide cutie like Cooper making his way towards me, you better believe, I'd make time for him! So, I expect that there is someone out there that wants to give this beautiful boy the amazing forever home that he deserves. Cooper is especially fond of treats - in fact he doesn't even need to see the bag to know you have one. Lately, he's been feeling a little depressed however. Anyone that's familiar with beagles knows how they like to speak, but little Cooper seems to have lost his howl. Cooper appears to to well with other dogs and older kids. 6 yr-old Male Tabby, Domestic Short Hair Dogs ?: Unsure but can test! Cats ?: Yes, but FeLV+ Hi, I’m Hank - I get along with other cats after the usual meet and greet. According to the people that currently take care of me, I probably did not have much interaction with people when I was younger, as I am fairly timid, and not all people are nice to cats when they encounter them outside. I need an experienced cat lover who can help me learn to trust people again. I know that I am safe here, but I would love the chance to bond with a special person so that I can learn to come out of my shell! **ADOPTERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO DRIVE TO CHICAGO, POSSIBLY MORE THAN ONCE-- if you live too far, please do not inquiry as animals will not be shipped** His Story Jack Frost was brought into a family in 2010 as a Christmas gift, and now, almost 10-years later, he has been abandoned ahead of the 2020 holiday season. It’s been no doubt an incredibly upsetting experience for Jack Frost, as he had spent so long with his family, but when they welcomed another dog into the mix, Jack Frost and him did not get along, and so, he was surrendered to Famous Fido Rescue. He still has a lot of energy, and loves to play and jump around, but he does need a little guidance and would benefit greatly from some training. We’d love to find him a home where he could be spoiled in by calm family as an only dog. He does react out of fear at times, so we would not recommend him for a home with young children. But, he has a very sweet nature that will work with a patient guardian that wants to see him through for life. show less
