Alfie  is a sweet loyal boy who wants to spend his days pleasing you and being your only companion. Energy Level?  Alfie is medium energy.  He is up for adventures , loves to walk , and is also happy to relax at home . House trained?  yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Alfie loves walking and is a great walker Describe how they are with other dogs?  Alfie probably prefers to be the  ONLY  dog in the home.  He is fine with the resident dogs in his foster home. However, he will overreact when a dog gets in his space when he is comfortably resting  and he does better as the only dog. Have they been around cats or other animals?   How were they?  unknown  Commands they know?  sit, lay down What are their favorite things?  going on walks, hikes, and snuggling What do they need to work on?  Alfie would benefit from  Training .  Alfie needs to work on boundaries.  We are teaching him that it is not necessary to follow us from room to room .   How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He whines for  several  minutes but then settles in. Where do they sleep?  Crate What is their ideal home?  I think Alfie would love his very own person. He isn't great at sharing and he needs a savvy adopter to teach him boundaries.  He is very loyal, and loving and training for both the adopter and Alfie would help Alfie be his very best. Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram .   Every Pet's Dream www.everypetsdream.org www.facebook.com/everypetsdream2 www.instagram.com/everypetsdream show less

Bean  is a very sweet little man who loves to be near his people.  He is snuggly but does well and prefers to be in the same room as you.  He loves to go for walks and to soak in the sunshine in the backyard.  He also hoards the toys, making piles for himself to lay on. Bean is smart and determined when he wants something.  He figured out how to climb an XPen in order to be near me.  He'll need  boundaries consistently reinforced  in order to follow them. Energy Level?  Medium - He does great on a long walk, then is pretty mellow in the house. House trained?  Yes - doggy door trained. We had a couple accidents early on, but since then he has been good about taking himself outside when needed. Describe how they are on leash?  Pretty good!  He loves his walks and seeing and smelling everything.  He is very interested in other people and dogs but generally just wants to stare and rarely barks. Describe how they are with other dogs?  He's good with my dog.  When out for walks he likes to watch other dogs.  He's only barked a few times at another one. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  No Commands they know?  He will need some training to learn his commands. What are their favorite things?  Walks, lying in the sunshine, snuggling with people What do they need to work on?  We normally crate train our foster dogs, however, Bean does not do well in a crate, so we are taking a break from crate training. Bean can also climb out of an XPen. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  I've left him in the house for a few hours (with access to doggy door) and he did great.  No accidents or issues. Where do they sleep?  If you mind a dog in your bed, Bean is probably not the right dog for you.  We took a break from crate training as he was not doing well in the crate.  Bean is on sleeping with his foster parent.    What is their ideal home?  Bean would do best in a home where he can be around people most of the time.  He's OK being in the same room with you, but would likely not do well if left alone most of the time.  Bean will do best if he can sleep in bed with you.  He likes to snuggle in! show less

Sasha is special needs as she requires daily eye drops.  Sasha  is a sweet brave little dog.  She suffered a traumatic injury inflicted on her.  She has continued to recover in our care.  Due to her injury, she needs  eye drops  in her left eye  daily . At first, this was not an easy task as Sasha did not trust us and was extremely head shy.  But with time, patience and turkey treats, giving her eye drops are now a part of our daily routine.  She really is a love.   Energy Level?  Low to medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on leash?  Sasha is good on leash Describe how they are with other dogs?  At first she was apprehensive with her foster friends, and kept to herself, not bothering anyone.  Now she is soliciting play with the resident dogs Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  unknown Commands they know?  Sasha knows her name and comes when called.  She will get in her bed when you ask her to. What are their favorite things?  She LOVES to sit in the sun and sunbathe. She loves to kiss your nose.   What do they need to work on?  Sasha is still learning to trust new people.  She is still nervous being picked up and head shy, although this has improved so much since we first took her in.  Also, our vet would like her to slim down a bit.  How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  We leave her free in the house when we leave.  She is free to go out to the yard.  We work at home but on the weekends she has been left for up to  6 hours when needed. Where do they sleep?  At night she sleeps in the doggie room on a dog bed,  What is their ideal home?  Sasha would do fine in a home with or without dogs.  She needs an adult-only home with adopters who are willing to go slow and earn Sasha's trust. She will reward that patience by being a very loyal and loving companion!! show less
