We are dedicated to improving the lives of all the animals within the City, but especially the sick/homeless pets that come into our care. We serve a community of 150,000 citizens. We promote spay/neuter, and offer low cost certificates. We also conduct investigations into vicious dog cases, issue dog licenses, animal fanciers permits, and many other services
Application for adoption must be approved, with proof of ability to have dog/cat in home (ie, landlord's OK). Fees range from $98-$118 for a cat to $160-$200 for a dog. This includes neuter/spay surgery, all shots, a bag of food, cat carrier ($4), and an initial flea treatment. If the animal has already been neutered/spayed, the fee is decreased.
