About Boeing

Boeing is a 1 year old Husky/Carolina Dog mix who weighs 55 pounds. He is super smart and knows basic commands (sit, shake, down) and is working on stay and rollover! He is very affectionate and just wants to be with you wherever you go. He loves his toys, going for walks, and playing keep away. Boeing does have separation anxiety and crate anxiety, which may lead to destructive behavior. With the right tools and someone who is willing to continue working on improving his separation anxiety and crate anxiety, he would be a wonderful addition to his forever home. He loves other dogs and can be a little timid with new people but warms up quickly. He truly is the sweetest boy! He is already practicing his recall skills and responds well to his name. He walks really well too! Boeing is an amazing dog with lots of personality who would do best in a home with a big back yard We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Hey there! My name is Chewbacca, but you can call me Chewy for short. At only 14 weeks old, I am big boy of 26 lbs. My foster mom says that I am such a good boy! I love to follow her around and sit at her feet when she works on the computer just in case I can sneak in a cuddle! I am doing pretty well at this potty training stuff and can even sleep through the night without an accident. I love playing with my brothers and sister, and love treats. I will do anything you ask for some peanut butter! Because Chewy is still a puppy and has very sharp puppy teeth, we do not recommend him for homes with young children. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. My name is Demi and I am pretty picky when it comes to the people and dogs I love. I am shy at first and really need another dog to help me learn the ropes. I love my foster parents and am very protective of them. Affection, kisses, and exploring the outdoors are my favorite things but I don't enjoy playing with toys. I need to be with someone who has patience and understands that I am a little shy at first. I have a way to go with learning my leash and barking manners, but I know I’ll get there; after all, I’m only a year old! I am a petite girl (4 lbs), so a harness is a definite for me when taking walks! I am crate trained, but need lots of potty breaks so I need someone who is home more often than not. If I can ride on your lap in the car, then I am happy to join you for a drive. I’m ready to steal your heart! Please note that because Demi is so tiny and has fragile bones, we do not recommend her to families with children under 8. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Hi! I am a playful lovebug boy, (5 lbs and about 1 year old) who would be so excited to find my new home. I grew up with Demi and several other dogs so I would love to have another fur friend at my new furever home. I am still working on my leash skills (squirrels are difficult to resist) as well as my barking manners. I love to be near my people and to give kisses. I am a great "alert" dog and love cats, too. I am crate trained, but still need frequent potty breaks so I would do better in a home with someone who is home more often than not. I love car rides. I would be a great addition to an active family who wants me to join in their adventures! I would do best in a home with another playful small dog. Please note that because Dex is so small and has fragile bones, we do not recommend Dex to families with children under 7. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application.
