Barkley is a 1 year old 25lb mystery terrier mix who is looking for his person(s) to be experienced with dogs, dedicated, active and have a bag of never ending tennis balls. He's not going to be the right fit for most people, but he is going to be the most rewarding for one who is looking for someone special. Because he was a little complicated and super smart we enlisted the help of Instinct Training in Englewood NJ to help us decode this small fry. We're coming away with a better understanding of Barkley and he's leaving with a wealth of training under his belt. Barkley use to be reactive to all things outside, he's since learned how to take his cues from his trainer, to not overreact at everything on busy streets (maybe only at some things), he's also learned how to politely greet new people (ask him what the 'magic bowl' is), loose leash walking, and many other great foundation training skills. This is how the staff at Instinct describe Barkley: "The entire staff at Instinct ADORE Mr. Barkley! He is definitely a huge part of the Instinct family. He loves his humans SO much, always ready to tackle us with kisses. Barkley has really come quite a way since his first day here. We are all very attached to this sweet boy and can you blame us?!"
