Bacon is looking for his perfect forever home: one without young children and where he can take time to settle in and get to know his owner. He shows his love with very cute meows and purrs. Bacon is very vocal so you can easily tell when he wants to eat, play, or just wants some attention. He enjoys having conversations back and forth if you respond to his meows with meows of your own. Currently, Bacon doesn't like to be picked up but he is slowly becoming more open to being held/touched by his foster. While he's slowly warming up to physical interactions, he is good at giving lots of signals showing what he likes/doesn't like and if he's feeling upset or overwhelmed. Bacon is a very playful, low-maintenance and well-trained older cat. He loves playing with his mouse toy and string. Buddy arrived at the shelter with some dental issues and missing multiple teeth. Our amazing vets will give him a dental, but he will need regular visits to your private vet to keep him feeling great. She can be an independent girl at first, but once she bonds with her person she will follow them around to seek attention. Candy is stressed by children, so she will need an adult only home. Candy enjoys spending time sitting in the window to enjoy the view of the birds outside and also likes to play with wand and mouse toys. A beautiful girl, Claw and her sister Grey A46675247 came to the shelter under very sad circumstances, their owner passed away and left them without a home. In the beginning Claw understandably had a hard time getting used to all the changes in her life -- her whole world has been turned upside down and she didn't know why. It has been hard for her and her sister Grey to adapt to their new temporary lifestyle here in the shelter. Although adjusting to the shelter life has been quite hard, with the love and support from one another, Claw and Grey has completely come out of their shell. Both girls are outgoing and attention seekers but Claw always makes sure the attention remains on her. Claw and her sister Grey are bonded so they will have to be adopted out together. Domino came to the shelter because the small dog in his previous home was not fond of him--Domino is too big and playful for small dogs but has done very well with large female dogs here. Domino hates being crated and would do best in a dog-proofed area of the home when left alone. He is very active and social and will need daily physical exercise to prevent boredom. Aren't I the cutest thing you have ever seen? Everyone loves a puppy, but before you bring me home there are a couple of things you need to consider. I am a blank slate - I'm not house trained (potty-trained), chew trained, and don't know anything yet. Like a new baby, I will need a lot of attention, a lot of love, and constant supervision. To become a well rounded dog- I would do best starting in a training class where I can learn to be social with not only people, but other dogs as well.
