Apricot or Peaches as her foster mom calls her is a small Chow Chow 3-4 years old. She is a very light shaded red color. At the time of her rescue she had patches of missing hair but did not get diagnosed as having demodex mange until several months into foster care. Her hair has grown back in now and she looks great. Apricot is spayed, microchipped, has all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and weighs 38 pounds. We call her a 'pocket Chow.' Apricot/Peaches is a fun loving, playful spirit enjoying giving doggie kisses and going on walks. She enjoys sunning outside and chasing squirrels. She sleeps any where but typically is near the bed on a rug. She is a perfect house mate and will make an excellent companion. Traveling she takes in stride and car rides are the best! Children are fine and cats in the house are fine but outside cats would be chased. She does great with smaller dogs and male dogs, we are not sure about other female dogs. Cobalt is a 2 year old Russian Blue male cat. He was rounded up in a trapping effort near a trailer park. Cobalt clearly was not a feral cat, did not need to be trapped and had at one time been someone's precious indoor cat. He was not neutered or micro-chipped so finding his owner was impossible. Cobalt was taken in by a foster were he received his FVRCP vaccination, rabies tag and certificate, health check up, neuter and microchip. He could not be a nicer cat and handsome-oh!!!!! with those clear green eyes and thick velvet fur.  PURRFECT manners at the vet office and in the home. KOBE is a very handsome 6 year old neutered male cat. He is almost certainly a Maine Coon or a MC mix. His owners moved with circumstances than made it better to foster and adopt out Kobe to another home. He is perfectly safe at his foster home for now. He is loving and affectionate but not really a lap cat. He will need to be brushed regularly to keep that lovely hair in tip top shape. He has all his vaccinations updated and is microchipped. Rivver is a 45-lb. bundle of charm.  Gentle, sweet, and playful, around 6 years old, with a delicate appearance. Prefers to be indoors most of the time unless you want to throw her kong to her, then she will stay out as long as you can catching and retrieving the kong. Rivver would probably enjoy being an only dog. Walks are a favorite and she walks easily on leash. Rivver would be a perfect  companion. Her favorite things include lying on her pet bed, with lots of toys surrounding her, while chewing on her Nylabone.  This sweet girl can hardly wait to be a member of a family or the center of your universe!  Rivver is spayed, microchipped, with her rabies vaccinations, bordatella, DhPP and Lepto vaccinations. TRUDY Trudy is a torbie, a mix of tabby and tortoiseshell, which means she has some quirky characteristics. She is very independent, but at the same time she loves attention. She has sudden bursts of energy batting her toys all over the house and she loves her toys. In fact, everything within reach is a play thing for her (she will untie your shoes if you are not paying attention).   Trudy is also a nature lover. She figured out the kitty door right away and she likes to spend time in a protected garden area or screened in back porch. Zorro, is a Hemingway Polydactyl, he has extra toes on his front paws and they are large. 3 years old and very friendly, our boy need an indoor home where he can be part of a family. Neutered and now up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and dewormed.  Well mannered in the home, Zorro enjoys looking out the window, monitoring all outside. He weighs 13 pounds. Extra care will need to be taken on trimming his nails. From his foster; Zorro is a sophisticated tuxedo kitty, always dressed to the nines, ready for any formal occasion. In his more casual moments, he likes to hang out in the bathtub and watch while I apply makeup.  While relaxing on the couch, he sometimes grabs my arms with his front paws, hanging on for a moment while instructing me to pay him more attention!  His cute ways will win you over quickly.
