DOB: 3/12/21 Princess Ann of the Royal litter loves to share affection with her human friends.  She is known for mid-day cuddles on the couch and loves to sneak a kiss on the cheek or arm.  She loves sharing her warmth and sleeping with her human companions at night. Ann is very playful with her siblings.  She loves to run, bounce, hide, and wrestle with them.  But when she’s ready to rest, she’ll be back in your lap or by your side to cuddle with some soothing purrs. Ann grew up in a family of two kids, two older cats, three siblings, and 2 dogs.  She is happy to join any size family! She’s very comfortable with other animals and kids as long as they are gentle and well-supervised. Ann hopes to be in a home with Charles (D780).  She is completely potty-trained and even likes to use the top entry litter boxes.  She is a sweet and loving little girl who is looking for a family to play and cuddle with him. DOB: 6/1/18 Ash is a wonderful boy. He was part of a group of cats owned by 1 man who lived alone and passed away 2 days before Christmas, 2020.  While this man was in the hospital trying to survive a stroke, his brother forced all of the cats outside and abandoned them with no care or food.  The community got involved to trap, care and support these animals who lost their dad who never came back home.  He has been in my foster care ever since December of last year.    Ash is very sweet and active.  He uses a litter box and scratch post very well.  He typically enjoys being commingled with other cats once he gets used to them.  But he can be a solo cat as well.  He is spayed, fully vaccinated and very healthy.  He loves to play with wand toys and will entertain you for hours.  He is a “great Goalie” catching toys in the air and trapping them on the ground.  He has not been around children or dogs; only cats both male and female.  He loves to be pet and lick treats right from the back of your hand.  He has a sweet purr that sounds similar to a pigeon cooing.  He is really a fun sweet boy. DOB: 1/26/21  Silly Aster is probably the wildest one of the group, yet incredibly affectionate and isn't shy about showing his love towards his foster Mom. He loves wrestling with his siblings, Indigo and Iris, but once he spots his favorite human, he runs over to her and sits on her lap or perches on her shoulder.  He loves giving kisses and getting his tummy rubbed too. He is a very high energy kitten who loves playtime with his siblings and is always the first one to the bowl when it's time to eat. Due to his young age and energy level, this adorable kitty would love to be adopted with one of his siblings. These siblings have truly bonded and need to be adopted in pairs only. DOB: 3/10/21 Baxter is a super friendly, playful and loving boy! He has the loudest purr machine, and is constantly using it! Baxter loves to cuddle on your chest and always wants affection. He’s the first to welcome you and say hello even if he’s sleepy, and rubs against your legs until you pick him up for kisses. Baxter loves playtime and will chase a wand toy around like it’s his job! He’s truly one of the most confident, socialized kittens around, and would be a fantastic addition to any home looking for a snuggly, sunny, energetic kitten! Roland, Baxter and Booger were lucky to spend the first two months of their lives with their mother in a safe home in Compton.  The boys’ mother was a friendly and smart stray who found a safe place to live while pregnant by moving herself into a nice woman’s apartment! The mother cat has been spayed and is happily staying with her new family in Compton, while these three boys came to us to find their forever homes.  Special consideration will go to adopters requesting a pair (or more!) of these special kittens.  If you would like to see more pictures and videos of Booger, Baxter and Roland you can visit foster_kitten_babies on Instagram If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting him, please click here to email his foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. DOB: 12/1/20 Bliss and Bunny are very special girls!  They were rescued from the city shelter (along with their brother) where they were about to be euthanized as the shelter did not recognize that they had a neurological condition, called Cerebellar Hypoplasia.  We have a lot of experience with caring for cats with this condition so we immediately knew we had to rescue them.  Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a neurological condition where the brain does not develop properly and it causes cats to be wobbly when they walk and sometimes lose balance. In the girls case they have an extremely mild form of it, so they are able to do everything that other cats can do – they just have a very cute wobble when they walk and run.  Occasionally they will stumble, but they can climb and also are able to use the litter box without any problem.  Bliss is the more social of the sisters and likes human company, and they both love all of the other free roaming cats at the nursery.  They certainly don’t let their condition slow them down and most of the time you would never even know that they are any different from the other cats.  We think they are purrfect just the way they are. You may also be able to catch glimpses of the girls if you tune in to our nursery livestream https://explore.org/livecams/kitten-rescue/kitten-rescue-baby-kittens. DOB: 3/10/21 Booger has the cutest facial expressions and the funniest sleeping positions! Give him a cat bed, and he’ll be sleeping like a baby in no time! He also loves to loaf with his legs out and paws tucked under him. Booger has a strong purr like his brothers, and a stronger desire to cuddle with his humans! Booger and Baxter often compete to be the closest kitten to your face during naptime. Booger is a playful kitten, but has a calm energy and often lets his brothers Baxter and Roland take the lead while he watches. His favorite toy is the cat dancer, and he’ll entertain himself for hours with one! Booger is a super sweet boy who loves window watching, soft beds and cuddles at naptime. Roland, Baxter and Booger were lucky to spend the first two months of their lives with their mother in a safe home in Compton.  The boys’ mother was a friendly and smart stray who found a safe place to live while pregnant by moving herself into a nice woman’s apartment! DOB: 3/1/14 Briggs and Cheyenne are a bonded pair of slightly older cats who definitely don't act their age -- and all the better for us, 'cause the fun and antics know no end with these two. Here are some words that Briggs's foster mom uses to describe this endearing fellow: Playful and mischievous, curious and persistent, sweet, affectionate and cuddly, funny and cute, talkative and loud, easy going. She says he gets along great with other cats, he's very people oriented and wants to be where his human is, but isn't clingy, he gives kisses, and most of all, he's got TONS of personality.   And this is what she says about Brigg's girlfriend Cheyenne: Besides being a real beauty, Cheyenne is sweet and affectionate, she starts purring the second you touch her, she's independent but also loving, she's playful, confident, and she gets along with other pets that are friendly. She's a lovely lady cat and an all-around good girl.   So you can see these two are a couple of wonderful felines. They're healthy and youthful, upbeat and loving, easy going and fun. What more could a person ask for? Would you like to be the lucky one??? DOB: 1/10/2009 Hi!  I'm Brody and I'm an amazing cat!  Yes, I'm a senior citizen, but I'm still very active, playful and I'm very affectionate.  In fact, my foster mom says I'm quite a character!  I'm sort of like a dog, because I come running when you call me, I greet you at the door, and I beg for food!  I was rescued off the street when my previous owners moved away and kicked me outside, where I became very sick and almost died.  After several months of vet care and a special diet, I am now healthy and ready to be a 'special' companion to a very special human.  I hate dogs and I'm okay with other cats, as long as they're not aggressive or territorial, because I like to be the 'alpha' male of the house.  Everyone who meets me falls in love with me!
