About Owen
Meet Owen, he was surrendered to CARE after his family decided that they couldnt care for him any longer. He is a 7 month old Maltipoo who weighs about 11lbs. He is very friendly and sweet but can be a tad bit shy at first. His favorite thing to do is to curl up on the couch for a good snuggle. He likes to play with other dogs. He does not shed but Owen will require frequent brushing and grooming upkeep. He is not yet potty trained but is working on it along with leash training. If you think Owen is meant to be part of your family and you are interested in learning more and speaking with his adoption coordinator and foster mom to learn more about him please fill out an application at www.caretx.org/adopt. This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $800 covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and air transport. Please email Emily at adoptions@caretx.org if you have any question. * CARE rescue is in San Antonio, TX where we have a serious pet overpopulation situation. CARE is a non profit 501c3 rescue that has been saving lives for over 9 years and with your adoption, we can help save even more deserving urgent adoptable pets!
