Energetic sweetheart who has overcome an eye infection and seeking to be a part of a loving family. I am an energetic, loving kitten, who loves being with others, including kids, other cats, and my blind brother, George. I am able to play for hours, but also like to cuddle up close to humans and would definitely sleep in a bed if allowed. I like to play with strings and balls and will follow any human who comes into the room. I purr a lot and am friendly with everyone. I am seeking a loving home, where I can play and explore. I know I only have one eye, but this does not stop me from doing anything any other kitten can do. I would love to stay with George, my brother, who is blind, but it is more important for each of us to find a loving home. I would love to meet you and show you how awesome I am. Lydia has raised three amazing boys and is ready to relax and get pampered herself.  She's still a kitten at heart, and likes nothing more than a rowdy bout of play followed by some gentle petting and cuddling.  She's happy to trade loving head butts for petting anytime. Aunt Lydia not a huge fan of dogs, but could probably live happily with another cat, or just be your one and only.  Because she's a bit sassy, she's looking for a home with older children or adults.  Be her hero and start a new adventure together!  For all of the introverts at every party, tucked away in your corner waiting for your friends to arrive before getting that little hop in your step, allow us to present to you Awkward Biscuit! This deceptively suave gentleman loves making happy little biscuits when his buddies come around, so if you're looking for a steady companion that just wants party with you at home this is the friend for you (and no, he won't take off his coat and get comfortable. he can't, it's his fur). Awkward Biscuit is FIV+, which doesn't require any extra medications or treatment. Since it does mean his immune system is weaker, he would just do best in a home that matches his personality (to keep his stress low) and should get regular bloodwork with his yearly vet check-ups.  Bernard is a loud purr machine that is so very friendly and loves being held and petted and kissed and also likes to bite people's noses! His brother Clayton is somewhat the opposite, shy, laid back, and likes to hide under the bed, but after only a couple of weeks now runs around the house with his brother grabbing pets and human love. These two brothers were born and lived outside for almost 6 months before being rescued and brought into the inside world where they would love to stay together to wrestle, run around, play with their little mouse toys and balls and, of course, snuggle together.     Age: 6 months -1 year How I came to PAWS: found as a stray Animal ID#: A 48771 &48772 I am not at the shelter.  Bibi is a super sweet cat who just wants someone to give her lots of love and affection. She practically demands to be pet and requires plenty of cuddles. She will curl up beside you or between your legs while you sleep. You’ll know she’s content when you can hear her purring like a lawnmower. Bibi loves a good nap, but when she’s up and about she enjoys batting around her catnip toys. She likes anything shiny or things that make noise. Bibi is a generally quiet cat and will only meow if she really needs something. She is currently in a home without other pets or children, but her kind and patient nature makes it seem like she would do really well with either!  Boris is a quiet sweet senior pup who loves to explore our yard and go for leisurely walks. He often stops to smell the roses. Boris can be a bit reserved and doesn't always remember to show affection, but he is happy for his soft bed, yummy meals, and a kind voice and hand. He will nap on his bed near to us and enjoy an occasional back rub. His favorite time of day is dinnertime and he waits patiently for each meal. He gets along with our dog and was happy to be friends with our foster cat. Boris is a gentle soul with excellent manners and a spark of curiosity. Boris has had collapsing episodes that could be cardiovascular or neuroligcal.  I'm a fierce black panther! (So I think.) Meet Cardamom, lovingly nicknamed Cardi B by foster mom. She is a loving, playful cat who is an expert biscuit-maker. This little lady has been through the ringer medically and is finally ready for her forever home! She most likely has asthma and may need some medical attention in the future. But for now she is a happy, active cat letting nothing stand in her way. Miss chatty catty loves to use her voice for any and all reasons, whether that’s to ask for breakfast, to greet you when you get home, or to sing with the birds! When she’s not chirping, she’s purring, especially when she gets her ear and under her chin rubbed. Cardi loves to play, but does get out of breath easily... so easy does it when choosing her toys.  Meet Queen Carol! Carol is finally learning how to relax and be a cat again. After having a litter of her own and spending time at the shelter, this beautiful girl is ready for her forever home. Carol is very chatty and loves all kinds of food! She will need a home that will allow her time to decompress and get comfortable before she shows her loving, cuddly side. Carol will let you know when she’s had enough petting/holding, so a home with older children/adults only would be best.  Meet beautiful & playful Charlotte! Charlotte gave birth to four kittens over the summer and was an amazing mama. But she's practically a kitten herself, and now that her babies have all been adopted, she is looking for a forever home of her own! This gorgeous, roughly 2-3 year old cat loves to play but doesn't have that non-stop kitten energy. So she'd be perfect for someone looking to adopt a fun and curious cat who also likes to take it easy. Charlotte appreciates being approached/petted quite gently and can sometimes be a bit sassy -- but she has an affectionate side too and is frequently seeking head scratches! Someone with some experience with cats may be best suited to help this sweet girl open up even more. Charlotte was great with her kittens but may prefer to shine as the only pet in the household.  Polar opposites yet purrfect companions! Chico: Energetic, super-curious and fearless. He loves pets on his cheeks and chest (he purrs loudly). Chico's favorite solo time pass is batting his toys around and exploring every corner of the house. He is a simple guy who plays hard, looks forward to his meals and then likes to sleep right next to his special person! He'll even play fetch- chasing down a toy mouse and then picking it up in his mouth and walking it back to you and dropping it at your feet, over and over. Chase: Calm, intelligent and gentle. Chase is a chilled out cat who has a laid-back friendly vibe and like pets on his head and cheeks. His favorite solo activity is preying on moving things like cords and poking his paws into holes. Chase likes closed spaces like boxes and underneath chairs. He is more cautious than Chico, but once assured of his surroundings he's playful and affectionate, purring and giving kisses.  Chico and Chase play a lot with each other, running around the house, wrestling with each other and ending it with cuddles and grooming. Since they have each other, they are okay being alone but both of them will also love being engaged by you in different ways. They like to be wherever people are, and will contently lounge nearby wherever you are sat in the house. Chase will often follow you from room to room. This duo likes to look outside the window (or better yet, many). If you are looking for action and love in your life, this young adorable duo will fit in your home very well. A great bonus is that both of them shed minimal hair compared to an average cat.  This is Chidi and he is looking for a Good Place to be his forever home! Chidi is a handsome boy with a sweet face and a very soft coat. He is all black with a very long tail and a little tuft of white fur on his chest. Chidi is only 2 years old, but this boy is hefty! He's a quiet panther who will slink around your house. He loves pets and chin scratches, and he will talk to you with a squeaky meow. He likes to play, especially with string toys.  His hobbies include looking out windows and napping in his kitty house.  Mealtime is the best time! He likes to see what his people are up to in the kitchen. He has learned when his mealtimes are and while sit and patiently wait for them. Treats are his favorite and the quickest way to his heart. While not currently the snuggly type, Chidi does love pets and playtime. Chidi was quite anxious in the shelter before coming to us. But he has already warmed up a lot while in foster care, so he may just become more snuggly as he gets used to his new home. He would do best in a quiet home without any other pets or young children. Starting off he will need a patient and loving hand to get him acclimated to his new home, but will soon feel at ease and become comfortable and adventurous. He has had no litterbox issues, despite his nerves. He is very low maintenance and doesn't mind hanging out by himself, but he loves attention and treats, too. If you're looking for a best friend, who also makes a great roommate, Chidi might be the one for you!  Age: 2 years How I came to PAWS: Found stray Animal ID#: A39004 I am not at the shelter.  It's easy to smile when you're with Clifford! This playful and fun-loving guy is full of joy and enthusiasm. His tail starts wagging as soon as he sees you walking towards him (especially if you're holding a leash)! We think Clifford must have been a family pet at some point since he's house-trained, super affectionate, and thoroughly enjoys car rides. Clifford is also happy to show off when there's a tasty treat involved, and has already earned 'sit' and 'come'. Clifford is a active boy who would love lots of space to run around and play, and he may get along with another dog friend depending on a meet!
