As a big, black, and fearful dog, Ace has some odds stacked against him. But luckily for him, he also has a big team of people working with him to become more confident, and to show him that we are there to help him and to love him. With proper intros, Ace is making friends left and right! If you are wondering, proper intros for Ace means no direct eye contact, speaking softly, offering treats, and letting him approach you. It can take some time for that tail to become untucked and that`s okay. You can`t rush this kind of thing. You know when you have Ace`s seal of approval because he will show you his naughty side! We diligently redirect him and he is learning quickly what kind of behavior gets rewarded. And who doesn`t love rewards?! You may also get some nibbly kisses once he really feels comfortable with you. According to his surrender notes, Ace is house trained, crate trained, and has lived with another dog. He is afraid of lawn mowers but loves car rides, squeaky toys, and tug of war. His notes also say, `He barks when he sees someone. Then hides. He watches them for a little bit and then loves them.` We love you, too, Ace. So much. I weigh approximately 69 lbs. Click here to view my paperwork. show less
