Bonded brother and sister, Jack and Mary are incredibly sweet and playful kittens looking for a lap and home to call their own. Jack Skellington and Mary Sanderson were part of a litter of six abandoned kittens who were dumped at the shelter at only one week old on a cold day in October, just before the doors were closing. Fortunately, the volunteers at the shelter were able to help them find a foster home just in time, but they were in rough shape. Even though they were clearly not feeling well when they first got to their foster home, you'd never know it. Jack and Mary were always sweet and had wonderful temperaments from their first week in the world. Jack, Mary and their brothers and sisters were fighters. Fast forward three months, they are now healthy, robust kittens ready for a new life with their forever family. Jack Skellington, the king of Halloween, is a complete goofball. He has the cutest pink and gray nose that may have ever existed and has the funniest facial expressions even when he's sleeping. He is great with routine and offers head butts when he knows it's time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sweet Jack loves to interact with his humans both when he's playing and when it's cuddle time. He is still learning that feet are friends, not prey, and he's working on his manners. He would love a patient family that will continue his training and will spend time playing toys. Don't worry, he's not picky and can amuse himself for hours with the most basic household items. When he's not playing, he is also a professional biscuit maker and does the cutest little kneads on his humans, in his bed, in their bed, in the air - he loves to knead. Sweet Mary Sanderson (one third of the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus with her two sisters, Sarah and Winnie) is a beautiful all black kitty. She has been just an absolute pleasure to have as a foster each day since she arrived. Mary does love to play, but she prefers to snuggle. Mary loves nothing more than a good bed or to curl up on her foster mom's lap as she works. She is an excellent office mate for anyone working from home. This chill kitty is going to be an amazing addition to any family. Jack and Mary get along well with dogs and cats who are tolerable of kitten behavior. They are very friendly to new people and will do best in a home where they can get lots of attention. Submit your application to adopt these wonderful babes!
